ok i just received an email back saying that my account is now in good standing to request a payout. They replied within 15 min after I sent the forms. So that is good news so far.
Now I have to decide between Bankwire or Check. They say they both take 5-7 business days to receive. I thought Bankwire would be faster since it's an electronic transfer.
They are telling me that for a free payout (up to $40) i have to request it on Monday between 9am-1pm.
Bankwire is $55, FedEx Check is $40. So If I want Bankwire I will have to pay the $15 difference I don;t see the point since its the same time frame.
So final question is which is more reliable Fed EX check or Bankwire. I will pay the extra $15 if Bankwire is more reliable.
Thoughts? Experienced with these payout methods anyone?
Thanks.

they tell you 5-7 days so you don't call them after 3 days saying "where is my money"
it usually takes far less than the 5-7 days

Yes this is what I am worried about- all that personal info being sent. Copy of license AND credit card front AND back. Anyone could now charge my card easily. But I have no choice it is THE ONLY WAY 5 dimes will send me a payout. Not to mention I am now worried about getting nabbed for offshore gambling with all that info they will have.
My point is not so much that they are going to steal your info, but rather they DO NOT do this procedure because they are worried about card fraud.
Let me give you an example:
Johnny is a gambler and uses a bank card that he used a different name to get. Since it's a cash loaded card who cares whose name is on it. Johnny makes 50 deposits using the card and is never asked a question about it, and there are no issues with the deposits.
Johnny finally wins a huge parlay for $15,000.00 and he wants to make a withdrawal. He is requested to provide the info and gladly does and explains about the bank card (keep in mind that you can deposit using a fake name with moneygram/western union no problem). All of a sudden there is a "problem" with him using a cash loaded card and they can't process the payout.
Probably happens more times than we know. Don't forget a lot of people don't use forums.
It's just a shady practice. If a book is worried about chargebacks/fraud they should request the information after the 1st deposit rather than waiting til someone wins. Im sure someone is a lot more apt to issue a chargeback when they lose rather when they win.

My bank doesn't have a swift code which is needed for bank wires so I had to go the ACH route. I did not need to sign up for a moneyline wallet account to get the withdraw to answer your question. It will be processed on Monday because I missed the early morning cutoff today so I will update when it hits my account
ACH was processed Monday morning and just hit my account right now ready to go. I talked to 5dimes and they said there was a delay so without the delay it probably would have taken the normal 2 days. Still, 4 days is fine with me for an ACH.

I agree with 100% and I made that same point to customer service which they were not able to give me a good answer. They said they do it that way to make depositing easier. Of course make taking money easy with no CC fraud protection, but when you want to with draw YOUR money then you have to send all that stuff in which at that point in time has nothing to do with your CC.
Yes shady is correct and I told them that was not good business practice. But they have your money so you are stuck.
No way they should have an A+ rating with a policy like that.

Our ACH processor has informed us that there was an error on the
payouts processed on 12-21-10. There was a system error that caused the
batch to be rejected. All the ACH that were processed that day were
not sent on that date but will be send tomorrow 12-24-10.
We apologize for the inconvenience.

Wow I just tried to request a payout with 5dimes and I just got the runaround with them first telling me that they are not processing payouts today or tommorow because of the holidays and some of the banks are closed etc.. Last week I asked about a payout and I had to send all these forms in and then they told me I had to wait untio Monday for a free payout (today) and Now all of a sudden today they are telling me this and that and I have to wait till next monday!! I ask them what holiday it is today? I get no real answer just the runaround.
In addition to the customer service talking in circles they were rude.
Is anyone else's books telling them they cant process payouts today???
This is complete b.s. I thought 5dimes was a reputable book. I am extremely dissapointed with them right now.

They always seem to pay, but you see a lot of posts now where it's a struggle to get to that point.
It's almost as if when you click the withdraw button you're playing with fire on when you're going to get the actual funds/will there be a problem with it in some regard.
I don't think its so much 5dimes and financial issues, I just think it's an utter lacking in a majority of their customer support division.
You get that feeling of "yeah so what" when you talk to a lot of their reps.

Update: Requested payout on 12/21 . Received the notification posted above about delays. Funds hit my account on 12/29
I'm pretty pleased with all 3 methods of payout at 5Dimes that I have used. Bank Wire was the fastest but paper check and ACH also arrived within a week. So far, I have only paid $25 in fees to withdraw close to 5 figures, within a little over a 2 month span. I think that is more than reasonable.
They have also expanded my methods of depositing funds since opening my account, which has returned me to being a degenerate. I have 3 methods of depositing now, that is not counting MoneyGram or WesternUnion. That's impressive to me since at TheGreek I'm restricted to MG/WU and at Matchbook it takes about 2 weeks to fund $500.
Anyway, so far so good and I felt like I should share.
Recap of the negatives so far: 1)one time had a pending over-charge on my CC.. it took a few extra days to clear 2) bank checks for payout are still expensive (consider ACH up to $2500 and bank wire up to $5000) 3) payouts haven't been as quick as advertised on the site, except for Bank Wire, but they have all been within a week which I think is reasonable

I'm fed up with 5 dimes and taking my business elsewhere. I've had to fill out verification forms about 5-6 times. Try to process a withdrawal using Western Union and they tell me all of their WU slots are filled for the day. Of course that happens every Monday. Then they stop processing payouts because of the "Holidays" even though New Years was on a Saturday, and I was attempting a payout on a Wednesday. Just too much BS and run around with them.

which way can u go without giving them and bankstatements, ID, debit card info, or utility bills. My friends just got ripped off of this. Another book (not 5dimes) ripped them off of there bank. Then when they reported it they refunded the money back but disabled there sportsbook account and claimed it as a charge back. Not to mention there book had over 2k in it lost. I hear Money line wallet on 5 dimes u dont dont send them any information...You send the info to MLW and they secure the info. I had a long talk over the phone with these people yesterday. Has anyone used moneyline wallet?

My 1st withdrawal is on its way in check form via fed ex with a delivery expected today. I requested on monday so not too bad. Actually I believe they tried to deliver yesterday (thurs) but i wasnt there to sign.
Hopefully now when I go to the bank to cash it it does not bounce.

I have been reading through this thread and want to mention that I have never had a problem receiving a check via fed x from 5dimes. Once in awhile it may take 7 days but the norm is usually 3-5 days from the time I request the withdrawl.
I run with 4 or 5 books at all times and when I collect I might withdraw from 3 different by 3 different methods just to mix it up. I personally prefer checks send via fedx so I can withdraw $1,000-$3000 at a time........never had a problem with the bank cashing a check and the clearing of the check was anywhere from 1-3 days.
Set up a................... 5Dimes Bookmaker TheGreek Matchbook and get a local (cash is king)
with all these avenues to draw from IF you have a problem with one odds are that you will get your money in a timely manner from the others.
Example: If I wanted $4500 sent back to me I might request $2500 check, 1500 bank transfer, 500 western union.........and yes you will get 2 out of 3 within 4 days and most of the time 3 out of 3.
Withdrawing can be frustrating but don't cave in if a customer service rep gives you the run around........just keep your head and keep after it.......

Tell me this fee is abnormal and i will drop this bank like a bad habit
I don't have a big name bank (chase, b of a, etc) so i can 't speak for those but the two banks I have had don't charge anything for cashing foreign checks
