i just joined the site and want HONEST feedback from your experiences. i just talked with the live chat option and someone said that moneygram is safest right now but has a max payout of 850 and u can only request one ONCE per 8 days. then western union is 900 max and is also ONCE per 8 days. but she said that western union tends to black list people and u might not get your money. so if they dont pay you at your local WU sight, then 5dimes has no obligation to pay you back. i dont get that but whatever. then bankwire is 3-5 business days and 3000 max which is good. then the check is also 3-5 and 3000 max i think. but i have been hearing all of you saying checks are bouncing. she said that EVERYONE is getting paid as of now, there is a small delay of 2 days to process checks right now.

If you goto your local WU location and can not collect your money, the sender gets it back.

It doesn't disappear into thin air... so 5Dimes is saying if you goto your local WU location and there is a problem picking it up, they get their money back and you are out your withdrawal?

Doesnt make sense.

and no it doesnt make any sense danny. they say that it simply does disappear if u dont get it.

i still need others experiences with this site danget. hope this thread picks up some traffic

I always get checks and never had one bounce.  But if one did bounce 5dimes would make it good.  I have been with them since they opened and stand by them.

I just went through the painful experience of getting cleared for a payout.  I actually had used one of those disposable unreloadable visa debit cards to deposit.  I made the deposit with this card weeks ago---they wanted to see a copy of it.  UGGh--luckily, I found it.  They want you to fill out a form and show drivers license.  Then they wanted me to sign that unreloadable card...it was very painful.However, they assured me that future payouts will now be easy because I registered my bank card.  They sent it western union and also warned me they weren&#x27;t responsible for non payment by WU.  I got paid within 24 hours.

thanks for the post, was your payout over 1K?  and was there no problems with your western union?  im just afraid that if i request western union, it SOMEHOW may not work, and then i do not even get credited the money back in my sportsbook account.  its also scary that i now have to find my bank card as well.

i went to the staples store cause i didn&#x27;t have a fax machine, sent a bill and my license, i called them in 5 minutes from the store and they told me they recieved it ,took all of 15 min, i thought it would be a pain in the ass but it was so simple

The every 8 day thing is not true for WU or Money Gram..........it may be what 5 dimes does, but I left them several years ago and not surprised to see this happening.

I use a book and had 3 MG withdrawls in 7 days and never once was there a problem. 2 were ready in 24 hours and one was ready same day.

Really need to stay away from 5 Dimes and Matchbook right now in my opinion.

Just wanted to put out little pub. serv. announcement re: the hacks @ 5 dimes. Keep in mind these folks will take virtually any Deposit (amount, frequency, etc.) and it's Instant.

Wdrawl - very different

Lotta BS YDay - eventually went past 1PM EST (their cut-off time for WU) - so they used that excuse. Spent a good deal of time Yday doing all I cud to get my account as ready (tagged, etc) for a W'drawl tday. Started bright and early @ 9am EST - was told: "All set - got all the info we need - we're 'running' @ about 45mins - so you should be able to call for a # in a while".

Waited 2 hours - called back - guy (stupid #3) said " I'm sorry the last guy u talked to gave u that info - it cud take up to 24 hours".

Wanted to reach through the receiver and rip....... Well, ya know. But if you put up too much off a stink they'll just freeze your account - something betjam does whenever I've tried to hold them responsible for their own 'guidelines.

FWIW I have had positive w'drawl experiences in the past - but it seems these folks are hit/miss deals at best.

To paraphrase Forrest Gump:

Getting a w'drawl from most (multi-billion $$$) Sports Books is like a "box of chocolates".

I have been with 5 dimes for a couple years and barely have any problems. I requested a payout last Sunday night (Nov 7) and received my check through Fedex on Friday night (Nov 12th). I went to deposit at the bank yesterday and hopefully it will clear soon. It does suck that it cost $60 through Fedex but at least it is fast.

Actually I just checked in my account and the checked was cleared!! So two thumbs up for 5 dimes!!

update your status for REAL tomorrow night at some point, u cannot deposit a check at ANY BANK on a saturday and have it instantly clear before sunday, thats just not possible bro, dont care who u bank with, its not possible.   so repost tomorrow if either it has cleared, or if they have taken the funds back out of your bank.  i am eager to hear what happens.

Sorry, I actually deposit the check on Friday night. I am also surprised that it cleared that fast. Maybe because the check if from the same bank as mine. But the money shows into my account as of right now.

I just checked AGAIN online on my account, and it say that the status of the check is cleared. I will check again tomorrow night or Tuesday morning and will keep you updated. I don't see why the check would be rejected if it says it is cleared now.

as you know, there are just too many horror stories out there, so i want to be sure that people are having POSITIVE experiences with 5 dimes right now.  like i said up there, i just switched to them and have worked my account up nicely.  i also heard that 5dimes will let u transfer money to others such as the greek and betjam,   but if people arent having problems with checks clearing,  thats good enough for me.    keep me updated.  thanks

oh, and what bank showed up on the check?  was it wachovia or something else, and where was it from?  canada or here?

It wasn&#x27;t Wachovia. I don&#x27;t want to give too much informations for obvious reasons but the bank showed on the check showed my same bank. The check was sent from Canada.I don&#x27;t see how the funds can be taken back out of my accounts if the status says "Cleared". I did not expect the funds to be cleared that fast. I was indeed also worried with all the horror stories but I never encountered any problems with 5 dimes for payouts. Like i said, it does suck that it costs $60 but if it takes less than 5 business days to get your check, it is worth it. I will start a new thread sharing my story because it seems that every one is scared when 5 dimes is still one of the best book out there.Thanks 5 dimes!
