I just don't get it. 99% of 5Dimes clients never have to talk to Tony or even have to care that he exists. I have played at 5Dimes for over a decade and have never spoken or chatted with him on or off-line. Until this thread popped up, I was not even fully aware that he was the owner or manager of 5Dimes.

5Dimes offers the lowest juice in the business and it is a fact that the 5% savings will save gamblers huge money over the course of weeks, months, years and decades. I'm not leaving 5Dimes over this issue.....I would rather save on the juice and they are the best option out there. Now if you are the type of angle shooter that likes to try to get one over on a book by betting obvious line errors, you might want to pack your bags. Someone in this thread said it best earlier.....act like a scumbag, get treated like a scumbag.

Does anyone else think this "Tony" in these chats is probably not really the owner??  Maybe "Tony" is just their go-to chat name when they resort to their strong-arming tactics.  Like perhaps there is a group of customer "service" people that are just trained to be complete d****ks when dealing with people, making threats, and all that other nonsense.  Seems like the owner of such a widely used book would have better things to do himself, than go all mafia style on a few people they have a beef with.  

If the guy won the 8K on the bead line of course they should take all of the winning back, cant understand why is this even an issue.

Well Ivan, we do not have enough information to analyze that...but I agree. If he took that 8K and made and 8K wager to double his account to 16K and then made two more 8K wagers and won both then the entire 32K would be subject to be seized in my opinion. However, if he won hundreds of smaller wagers as was written in an earlier post, then I do not see how 5Dimes can justify taking all of this players funds. THE MORAL OF THIS STORY....as I stated previously.....if you take something that is not morally yours to begin with, then you are looking for trouble.

Some  of you just don't get it. Its not just about the bad line posted and the bet that was made. Its about how it was handled.  Tony took the guys money and Threatened the customer with violence, that's crossing the line.  That's ok with some of you.

This is also not the first customer he has done this to, don't think this can't ever happen to you and if and or when it does what you going to do about it?        Nothing!

there is a 3rd party that disputes such matters.  It's called SBR forum.  All the big books count on their ratings to get new business and they try to resolve such matters so their ratings stay high. I have not read the thread but if this guy feels he was duped, he should file a dispute with SBR.

I must have missed that - and I think I read every word of that thread and their chat.  Can you please let us know where Tony threatened to kill him?

Look - as someone else said previously - it is amazing how most of these threads have one thing in common - AN OBVIOUS BAD LINE THAT WAS BET TO TAKE A SHOT.

Don't insult anyones intelligence here.  That was the intent.  The guy might have had second thoughts.  But his original idea was holy garbage look at this bad line.

Tony is rough around the edges, but look at the business he is in.  Everyone tries to take shots.  I don't condone it - but the player here is not right either.

I should check out Bovada.
