they will be introducing the bill on thursday if everything works out smoothly possibly by the summer

Anyone been to AC recently?  All the casinos popping up in Del, Pa, WV, etc... have just bludgeoned business there.

AC has one choice and one choice only----get the sportsbooks up NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hope it happens----certainly prefer gambling there than in the other states.

If AC gets sports betting.  I'll be taking weekly trips laying down action for me and my friends.  We'll all rotate going down.  It's only 1+15 minutes from my house.  When college hoops start....maybe 2 or 3 trips per week.

6 months?  Unlikely.  These d-bag politicos will wrangle, hem and haw, threaten, etc......just like they do on every f--ing thing.

AC will have sportsbooks up at earliest by next year's football season.

When NJ goes to court they should argue that the federal law against medical pot is in affect but 19 states have made the use of medical pot legal. The same can be said for sportsbetting. It's time to overturn this bullshit law anyway and allow people to bet on sports. But I fear that even though NJ passed their question by a very large margin you won't be seeing sportsbetting in AC for at least two years as the feds will play hardball as long as Obama is in office. His justice dept. is inept as can be!

Yeah, Jos is right--unfortunately, this ain't gonna' happen overnight.  Way too many egos involved, way too much legal mess to clear, way too many f--ed up people on this planet-----and that includes NJ.

Don't forget you have to deal with the NFL .  You really think it will be up and running by next football season . I will be shocked if this gets fast tracked.

What will the likelyhood of the state setting up a website like the off-shores and taking action from Jersey residents?

30 mins from ac here.  Hit it up last night at the BJ table for some nice profits which I will Parlay for tomorrow's festivities.  Borgata is the best.  Had a nice no midshoe table without any morons on it.  May go down again tonight and try to bring em down again.

Hopefully I get my 5dimes money today back into my account at Noon.  We'll see. 

If AC gets Fed approval, then I will never have to worry about not getting paid again.  Today is Day 20 of waiting for my ACH just to go back into my 5 dimes acct which is still questionable.  Then I will have to wait for another few days.  Will post if I ever get the money.

just my two cents:  (1) it may be years before NJ gets sports gambling

(2) you'd be suprised who did NOT support the referendum ----> the casinos and the racetracks

(3)  you are thinking that it is going to be like your local bookie or online sportsbook....they may make you only get to bet 3 game parlays

ha well let me clarify cuz I made the same mistake as you.....some people at the racetracks did not support it....cuz I know some people at Monmouth who voted NO----which did shock me...and it took the casinos a long time to jump on the bandwagon...i don't know all the issues behind this but for some reason it may not be as awesome as we are hoping

Comes down to the money trail.  NJ, casinos will make money off sportsbetting-------so it moves on the fast track.

The reason why they don't like it is because i think the state is gonna get more of the money that the tracks and casinos. That what I am assuming . So if the sports betting gonna be at the tracks does that mean you only gonna have to be 18 to bet on sports? Does not matter to me the age limit i am way over  just curious . Then if you go to AC you will have to be 21 to bet on the sports correct?

Well think that there will not be online sports betting part of this bill because the whole reason they wanted is for you to go to the track or ac to bet on the games. But i could be wrong dude sorry if i am .
