Just got a letter from my bank and they said the check was fraudulent/counterfieted....first off I waited 3 Weeks to get a check in my hands...then another 2 Weeks for my bank to send it in for collection...also my bank charges $75 collection fee...now bovada wants me to send in the letter and a statement that my bank sent me.....whether or not I will get paid remains to be seen.... I will update you in a week....

Big frank how long have you waited? Took me 3 full Weeks including weekends to get mine....I hear alot of people been getting 'bounced' checks in the month on November from bovada...my check is only for $800

I made my withdrawal request on Nov. 20 and got an email saying the request would take about 10 business days. Today I got another email with a DHL tracking number, so I'm guessing the check just went out today.
I'm starting to worry if the check will be good. And even if it's legit, I'mwondering if the bank I deposit it in will accept it. I've cashed out once before from Sportsbook back in '06 and didn't have a problem. That was for about $150. This one's for $400.
I must say I've had a good experience with Bovada so far. Customer Service has helped with a few issues, and I've had little trouble making deposits, so so far so good. Maybe I'm worried about nothing.

Im hope they give you a good check...my withdrawal was for $800 and I sent them docs from my bank stating why it was rejected. called them and everything after I faxed. They are still 'forwarding' the problem to their processing drpartment....keep u guys updated...

Try depositing in your ATM. Dont have to deal with a telller.Very simple. I honestly have never had a problem depositing checks from bodog or bovada. Good Luck

Ok now they refunded the money back into my bovada account maybe expectin me to use it all ...so I called them to see whats going on and see I how soon I can get another check...and guess what, I have to do thr process all over again...submit a payout and wait 48 hours for approval...so the first check I requested for was on Oct 26th..waited 3 Weeks to hit my door then another 1.5 Weeks for my bank to send it in and found out it was a fraud.....now I have to wait 10+ days to get another check (which will prolly bounce again)...so in all I am waiting about 3 months to get $800 if the second check doesnt bounce.....crazy....I will update yall on this second check if n when it comes in....

My check was in my mailbox today delivered by DHL. It was drawn on United Overseas Bank in Singapore, and there was an unsigned note with the envelope that says the following:
"TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN
Dear Sir/Madam,
This draft has been issued by United Overseas Bank Limited, Singapore.
Kindly note this cheque cannot be cashed, It can only be deposited into payee's own bank account.
Thank you."
So it sounds like this is a crossed check (a check that can't be cashed over the counter), but this check doesn't have the two diagonal lines across the middle that usually characterize crossed checks. So I'm wondering if it really is.
The check also says "Bank of America N.A." on it. Does that mean anything?

@bigfrank...that check should be legit as a few months before I received a similar check..but I could be wrong....lets hope it holds true....the check that I recently received was from Canadian imperial bank that was fraudulent

Daaamn Yoshi...I hope ur check doest bounce my man
I told lou of sbr about my concern with that, he told me he talked to magnus about the recent bounced checks and magnus assured him that these batches were good as long as you follow the directions when you deposit. BTW, have a bank you recommend? i was thinking of chase but since chase doesnt have a branch down here I might roll with Bank of AMerica

Sorry this is continued but the withdrawal was $20 more than my deposit check but the same otherwise down to the penny. I called my bank and was told that someone made the withdrawal using my ID(which bovada has a copy of). As far as I know this amount is not a bounced check but far more worrisome. I called bovada and sent them copies of my bank statement but they will not help. I still have two more checks to deposit and am very worried. I' hope they don't clean out my entire account.
