Hey Crash, was just wondering how long ago you requested your withdrawal? Just curious because I also requestwd a bank wire, but I did this just last week. Was hoping to get my money soon, but from what I am reading on this forum it doesnt sound like its going to be soon.

I requested a MB withdrawal on March 1st for a credit card transfer. My MB account still had the full amount of money in it until yesterday when it changed to $0.00. Today I received an e-mail from MB saying that they have sent my details to a processor, the processor has confirmed it will be processed on 3/21/2011, and that the funds should hit my credit card 7 to 10 business days from then.
I'll be curious to hear when people start actually receiving the fund transfers onto their credit cards----but so far everything seems to be going like MB said it would.
I got the same email

I felt I had to sign up for an account here to let you guys know what happened to me. I got my money a few days ago but was shown as "pending" in my account. My bank needed to see a proof of purchase for the amount that was credited to my debit card and will not release the funds until i show them i bought something for that amount. Matchbook now has to "reverse" the transaction and try another debit card. Very pissed off to say the least and wanted other to know to beware this may happen to them.

Following the recent announcement made by the new Matchbook owners on the 28th February 2011 we would like to provide the following update and amendments to our payout procedure:
1. It was our intention to settle all payouts within the earmarked 31 day period (31st March 2011) and have all player balances in their possession. Due to unexpected banking time lags we are asking for patience on these withdrawals. None the less, many effected players have already received their funds and more funds are hitting player’s bank accounts and credit cards daily. All withdrawal claims should still be made directly to us through withdrawals@matchbook.com within the 31 day period.
2. Due to the complexities of settling future bets at an arbitrary date and market value and the unethical process of canceling them, we have been advised by our legal council to allow future bets to run until expiry and escrow all player funds with an Antiguan law firm. The Antiguan financial regulator will no longer be used to settle unclaimed balances and/or the results of future bets. After the 31st March 2011 all unclaimed balances and winnings from future bets will be sent to our Antiguan lawyers to be held in escrow.
3. After March 31st if you wish to make claim to any unclaimed balances or winnings from future bets you must email claims@matchbook.com as you will not receive any responses from any other email addresses. These requests will then be processed in a timely manner in conjunction with our Antiguan lawyers and will be paid.
4. At midnight EST 31st March 2011 all US IP addresses will be blocked and all users with pending balance and future bets will be emailed informing them the total amount of their outstanding balance as well as a list of any open future bets.
5. Any funds that have not been claimed within 12 months of the 28th February 2011 will be removed from player balances.
6. All clients who have already sent in their withdrawal requests do not have to resend any information as all details have already been logged and your payment is being processed. If you are yet to do so please submit your bank wire or credit card details to withdrawals@matchbook.com immediately as you only have 8 days left to do so.
7. If you received this email and were not in possession of the first sent on the 28th February 2011 please re-check your email inbox and /or junk mail for withdrawal process. Alternatively please email withdrawals@matchbook.com before 31st March 2011 for payment details.
We do apologize for the delay in processing and ask for your patience as the payment process is taking longer then expected. Many clients have already received funds and we once again reiterate that all clients will be paid and there should be no concerns over the safety of player balances.
FYI-
total cluster fuck as expected

I'm still looking for a group of individuals who have less than $100 in their account and want to combine our funds and make one withdrawal and split the $35 processing fee. They said this might be possible. They would like to clear out as many little accounts as possible.
Obviously it would require some trust between us, but what the heck, we're going to lose our $50 anyway.

This is the sort of thing that I worried about----banks/credit card companies not accepting the funds. Was there a reason why MB couldn't Fed Ex people a check? Even if they charged everyone the $35 or whatever to send it Fed Ex, doing it by that method would have gotten everyone paid a few weeks ago.

i guess i shouldn't ask why. pinnacle and others did it.
so where are you going to move your money?
i'm going to costa rica in a few months, maybe i'll rent an apartment and open up an account at pinnacle.
pinnacle throughout time has always bad the best lines IMO...how would you go about opening an account at pinnacle? i mean even if you are in costa rica unless you open a bank account there you would still have all US accounts right?
