I have never considered a sports service in my life. I was on a morning drive one Saturday morning and there was a radio show on AM that was talking sports and gambling. These guys were hyping how much they make for their clients. How great sports investing is. How they will turn $1k to $8k in one weekend. How they pick at a high percent.
And how they will give me a 3 free plays for this weekends games. I called and listened to their pitch, declined their package and took the picks. They went 1-2.
I talked to a gambling buddy of mine who says they are nothing but a scam. I was already skeptical before I ever called and kind of knew then to not call anymore.
About a month or two go by and I get a call. This guy was a pretty good salesman. He caught me on a good run and I wanted to get into hoops but did not have the time with football and fantasy football still occupying most of my time. He game me a promo for $30. He was sure to go 3-0. He went 0-3. He told me he would work with me until we got back in the black. All said and done he was 11-14. PATHETIC. Then started to ask to buy his bowl package. I laughed at him and he was offended. The conversation ended and we have only spoke once since. I told him he would never get another penny from me.
Now I am getting calls from a 516 area code as well as 702. Each time these guys try to sell me stuff. I just break their balls each time until they no longer can take it and end the call.
Is my number circulating around some boiler room? Will they ever stop or is it time to get a new number?

I said no way, Jose! Then he reiterated that I simply cannot miss tonight's pick. It is one he only gives out a few times annually and that only his high rollers get this pick but he wants my business and is willing to give me the pick if I buy his package. I politely decline and tell him that the only way I'll do business is kick him back a percentage of what he earns for me. He says that is not how he does business. Then he says, "If I win you this game will you jump on board?" Again, I tell him NO and that only an idiot would sign up from one outcome, told him it would take a minimum of 30 games for me to pay out anything. Then he says that he'll ask his boss if he may release the play and if so, I must wager atleast $200 and pay him $100 the next day. He says he must get off the phone and gives me a number to call in 5 minutes. I just laugh and say sure. I never call the number.
Bingo! If you want to get someone or some business back for scamming you, just send out their e-mail address or phone number to these useless parasites called touts.
