You have got to be kidding me. One phone call to the IRS for tax evasion and FBI for taking bets on the phone will fix all those phone calls you think a good collector can make.
I agree you have to pay, but you logic above is all wrong.
LMAO............YOU REALLY THINK SO.

Yea that's silly to suggest that the FBI gives a damn about one individual who he himself is a part of the illegal transaction. Not to mention, you will have no real proof.
And besides, I can call your neighbours, boss, etc. Nothing illegal about that....maybe if I call them every waking moment.
And the person who makes the call is also most likely guilty of tax evasion if you really want to play that card.

You would be surprised what they might follow up on or closely look in to..my mother worked for OCI for 29 years, bookies are seen as scumbags and there are many people who would enjoy ruining there day..it would take a very big operation to get the FBI involved but i can promise you the FBI arent the only ones that can take can someone down.

That's even twice as dumb as not paying up or having the money to begin with.
You really want to involve the authorities when you are in the wrong as well, and can almost guarantee an investigation on yourself in terms of tax evasion, etc???? You think they will just target the bookie?
And to top it off it's just horrible karma and a rude move....the client is the one who messed up, and now you're going to rat on someone when they come to collect and you can't pay?

No i wouldn't involve the authorities, thats why i always found a way to pay what i owed..but if someone had their family threatened or their neighbors harassed then i wouldn't blame them at all..now about the tax situation, the IRS isn't worried about targeting individual bettors for chump change, they will target illegal operations that they suspect are generating far more money..most bettors dont need to fear tax evasion charges because im most cases they didn't win anything..and if they did it often times is never put in the bank.

You and i basically disagree on 1 thing and we agree on 1 thing..we disagree because you seem to think that book is in charge and he has some kind of power and i think the book is not in charge and can go Fu$k himself....we agree that a person should pay what he owes if he loses money to a book, everyone knows the rules of the game when they start placing bets with a book..every book i have ever played with has paid me when i won so its only right that i pay when i lose. There should also be some self respect and pride involved with paying your debts.

Well there is a world of difference between threatening someone's family and calling them with damaging information. Obvioulsy you would have a case for the former.
It's not meant to be physical. Collections will call your neighbours, work etc because it's the fear of being exposed as a degenerate to all the people close to you.
I'd be pretty embarrassed if my neighbours, colleagues, relatives, etc were to find out I have a problem of not being able to pay my illegal gambling debts. People think that wouldn't bother them....trust me that stuff affects you.
Never underestimate the IRS, they will screw anyone even the little guy.

Ok I am back I have been trying to raise some money.
I told him that I didnt have all of it and he threatened me and said he was coming tomorrow to pick it up. I said don't come and he acted like a real ass, and said i was stiffing him. He was a lot more aggresive than i thought he would be. He showed up the next day with a piss attitude and i gave him 1/2. he than said he would be back on saturday for the rest. I borrowed the rest today.. no more credit for me. He stopped short of thereating me, but you could feel if you didnt pay you would find your car damaged or something. I was really surprised because when i started with him he called me his "friend"
No more locals for me I am going to post up offshore

I am glad he didnt split your wig man. You have to make sure you can pay if you play. Also guys dont think for a second that the bookie isnt in charge if he has been around for any length of time. I had cops,a judge, several city officials, and a bail bondsman in my pocket and layong action with me so to ruin somebodys day didnt necessarily me having his ass kicked. Sometimes it meant having a different cop pull his ass over every time he left home and ticket him until he lost his liscense to get my cash. After he paid with interest and aggravation pay I pulled a few strings to get his driving priveleges back. There are also other creative ways of getting the stiffs to pay. Most of the time the creative stuff hurts more than the physical stuff. Calling the cops on the bookie could probably get you in more crap than you think. On another note eyeball, when you set up an account with a book you should use BetPhoenix. They are head and shoulders above the rest.

I didn't believe your post while reading it and the last sentence sealed the deal. BP is getting hammered by its customers more than any other book, and that's your advice for this guy?? Go home, rookie.

cwjr is certifiably insane jasontc, just 50/50 over two weeks will be fine with you guy, just don't play anything else in between. If he is worried over a dime anyway, you need a better, more professional book.

They stiffed me back in 2009. You lose you pay. You win, they break your cashout into “limits” and you pay an exorbitant WesternUnion fee.
If that wasn’t bad enough they sold my info to all the sh*thole basement “bookies” that would solicit me with “bonuses”. I kept getting phone calls till 2014 or 2015 and junk mail to this day. Unbelievable
