As a Yank who lives in Australia, I can tell you how far off base you are. And the gun laws and stats back it up. I lived in Arizona and feel very safe in a bar, a state with the right to carry a concealed weapon.
Now go look at those gun laws in cities like Chicago, Philadelphia and Washington DC., and then compare those murder rates. There's a horrible difference.
BTW, it was Mother England that was one of the two main reasons for the concept of a free citizen to carry a gun.

Higher crime in areas where there are stricter gun laws. Banning guns is not a solution. For all the libs that live in this fantasy world, it would be the biggest black market since Prohibition if you were to completely ban guns. This is coming from someone who doesn't even own a real one.

Government needs to outlaw ammo as they are today and only allow sale of safety bullets. Safety bullets should be designed with a safety that only allows discharge when cooler than a preset temperature that only allows a shot a minute. That way, these dumb f@#*s won't be able to kill so much before getting tackled or shot!

Punishment for child killers and molestors are usually justified in prisons where most of the guys in there can stand anyone who harms children, and the they don't just get teased, hit, and f.ucked for 20 minutes, but for life.

Ya a bad story makes me think more and more of my son. As i was at columbine when that happened... I was in the parking lot with my bball team and coaches as we had a game there that afternoon. A day that will never be out of my mind. As well as i had friends at the Massacre at the Theater :(
