Hey all.. been awhile since I cruised these forums regularly.   Saw this article and immediately thought of old friends I met on here.  I hope all is well and this case bears watching.

"Eight Las Vegas area men have been arrested and face money laundering and conspiracy charges after agents shut down a major national bookmaking ring. The Nevada State Gaming Control Board Enforcement Division, working with the New York Police Department, the FBI and the Queens County District Attorney’s Office, participated in the service of search warrants and the arrest of eight men from the Henderson and Las Vegas areas."

takes some of the biggest bets in town and now associated with one of the biggest off shore books and NY associates.............hmmm,,,,,hmmmm...M Resort must be loving this....really and people are suprised..............

The 3 owners of Pinnaclesports.com were also arrested. This is a huge story for all bettors.

should we be worried if we use pinnacle? ie take $ off of there?

I am not with Pinnacle(live in the U.S.), but this is a major blow. 
I would certainly advise caution if you have significant money in a Pinnacle account.

A year after getting into poker they got Stars and tilt,,,,, don't tell me this is happening with sports books too.....

Not sure how this will play out. Preliminary info. Another good article with Pinnacle's possible(through agents) involvement in this scheme.

this is an  isolated incident it seems with a few select people, if you use pinnacle i wouldn't be worried about your money.

Since the director of Cantor was involved, does anyone think Cantor will be affected?   That's my spot in Vegas.

Cantor was close to closing on a big deal this week, Involving a 
takeover of some major books in Vegas..

Wonder If the M's sports book director (Cantors) shining star, was working solo.  Stopped by the Silverton yesterday, the new sports book was all taped off, no workers.Cantors newest book.. Bet the fat cats from William-Hill are  No love loss between that crew...

So LV, aware all the Cantors temporarily shut down?  The Trop location was my home away from home.

The Silverton location could just be a coincidence, as far as I know Cantor is up and running. You saying the Trop Is down?

truck......... silverton is closest book to my house......was there a few days ago and noticed the new construction where the keno used to be........ this is classic and the feds have been watching these clowns for 18 months.............

Not saying the Trop is down.  I was asking.  Back in Florida now so not sure.  Just texted my host and he said they're up and running there as usual.
