Yep, I understand what those "rallies & protests" were about. People think they are mistreated, and often are. MLK thought the same thing. Hell, he had a dream and marched peacefully. The pen is mightier than the sword my friend. MLK knew that and that violence begets violence and that the black community would have to stand together as a collective if they wanted inprovement.
Pretty sure MLKs dream did not include burning the local gas station, CVS and many black owned businesses. I'm not sure why I'm a bigot because I live in the real world. Obviously a lot of what you say is true, but thats not the point. Your thoughts and opinions are always about what caused or led up to an incident (education,family, society etc). Those are all documented facts, and no one really argues with you. Most people know blacks have an uphill battle in society & life. I get it. I dont live with my head in the sand....hell, I live 20 miles from Ferguson, MO. When people refer to "thugs and hoodlums", they are referring to the less than 1% of blacks that anchor the racist thoughts of all whites. I see these people all the time. I also see the other 99% of blacks who are nice, hardworking people.
Your problem Scal is that you think since you're right that everyone else must be wrong. Well brother, Ive been alive long enough to know that when you think everyone around you is an idiot, either you're wrong on some level or you're at walmart or a county fair.
I'm not sure why you think everybody that says something bad about a black person is a racist or bigot. Idiots are idiots and facts are facts...neither knows color, religion or gender. Are their tons a terrible cops? Yep. Are their tons more terrible people that arent cops? Yep. The odds these 2 subgroups will eventually encounter one another is 100%.
I'm not "the bigoted scum" these recent riots were focused against. These protest did nothing except enforce why white people are racist towards blacks, even if they had every right to be out raged (thats another topic). You said how dare I lump all the black peopel together as a people, but what you apparently dont understand is thats what 99.9% of people do, including blacks. Until the black community can gain true leadership and solidarity, MLK will continue rolling over in his grave. 50+ years later all his hard work has gotten his people nowhere.
I'm not a racist, I'm a realist. You seem to have those 2 words as synonyms. Also, I'm gonna limit myself to 40,000 NFL bets this season.
