Good thing I've been stocking up the last few years. Staples, water, fuel, guns, ammo, you name it....

This event today is just one a many to come. It's been building... slowly but surely. Volcanoes, earthquakes, hurricanes, ice caps melting, record heat, record snow, animals and fish suddenly dying...the list goes on. Next Saturday the Moon will be closer to the Earth then it's been in 18 years. The star gazers call it "Extreme Super Moon." This could really fuck shit up. There's proof that when the Earth, Sun and Moon are all aligned it increases tectonic activity.

Interesting about this "Super Moon", not sure exactly how credible but I will certainly be keeping an eye on it.

 

In the same way I have been wondering if Earthquakes can be caused by increases in Geomagnetic activity on the planet - as I noticed last month that the Christchurch quake occured during a time when the Sun had just had a Coronal Mass Ejection aimed right at us.

The above website has a graph at the top when has been going haywire all day since before the main quake, though it hasnt been as consistant as I would have hoped in there being quakes when there is increased Geomagnetic activity - also I am wondering if it is a Chicken/Egg scenario so it may be that the earthquakes have caused the increase in activity rather than the Geomagnetic activity being the cause of the quakes.

 

Interesting stuff though, and if there is something in the idea then it could also point to the 2012 end of the world theory as 2012 is supposed to have a much increased solar activity with sun spots and increase in the number and intensity of CME's etc due to the Sun moving into a phase of "Solar Maximum"

I feel bad for the Japanese people and I hope this disaster doesn't get any worse. They now are facing a potential of having a nuclear meltdown in one of their reactors.

Death toll has now reached over 1,000 people in this quake and tsunami, i am afraid that number will climb.

   Japan has declared nuclear emegencies at 5 of their reactors due to cooling issues. Partial core meltdowns in progress with full meltdowns possible.

I've been in a milder quake in the Tokyo airport and I've been a few minor quakes in Chile. It's a very unsettling feeling. But, this is awful and the devastation is traumatic. I'll light a candle at Mass tomorrow.
