So I was playing in 5 dimes grand casino this morning and hit a for a huge win...Over 100,000. They said they will check their machine for malfunction and get back to me in 72 hours.
My question is...provided I actually get the money...what would be the best way to get payout? Are their going to be tax ramifications?
Anybody ever deal with this before?
I am still in shock
Thanks in advance

Check machine for malfunction? 72 hours? Sounds like weasel words to me. I would let them know, if there is an unfavorable direction in sight that 100,000 is worth a lot of noise on the sportsbook monitoring sites. And anywhere else that you can make noise about weasels. It would be bad advertising on their part for that word to get out. I would not make a deposit to such a site. Or in my case, I would not make another deposit to that site because I have a little there now. Which I would extract a sap. Let's hope that their inspection of the machine finds that all of the people who should have been paid but were not due to the malfunction of the machine get paid after their close examination over the next 72 hours.

Wow. That is awesome. Every wire transfer of course passes through the Fed Reserve so it is reported along with the receiving bank. Tough way around paying taxes on that unless you fly to Nassau and talk to a banker. Check in to overseas accounts in different countries because there are several that will gladly take your business.. Might be worth your while to take a trip and avoid the major 30/40% haircut. Vacation time.
Congrats.

.....Dollar is very strong right now against most currencies which might also be a thought for you to deposit. Central and South America especially. Once your funds are deposited in let's say Peru, then wires can come in short of 10k in slow increments over an extended period of time... without flags.
Just a thought.

sounds like tony is having an emergency meeting for a cover up story to give you so he doesn't have to pay. i wouldn't doubt this being the case at all.

THIS.
They know RIGHT AWAY if there was a malfunction of not.
It's horsesh!t. I'd contact them again and say that you've already notified the sportsbook overwatchmen to your win and look forward to seeing the money deposited ASAP.

Check their machine for malfunction? This is way out of my league, but how can this be good? What possible explanation could they give you of a "malfunction" that they could 1. Have you believe, and 2. Somehow prove to you that it's legit?
I'll assume this is a legit claim because.....well....I'm gullible. I have to know how this turns out.

I've had over that number in my 5dimes acct with now worries. taxesget some losing tickets off the floor and offset them if you really feel obligated to report your "winnings". It takes a long time to get that much money out of an off shore book. 2 western unions a week, 2 money grams all for like 750. anything under 1000 doesn't raise any flags. and one check per week for 7500. anything less than 10,000 ive been told raises no flags. Keep your winnings and what you think you'd have to pay in taxes in a separate acct and deal with that issue if it arises i doubt it will if you play your cards right

For those curious...I was playing in 5dimes grand casino...which apparently is run by a third party, the game I hit on was called Megasaur...a slot game at 1.25 a spin. The major jackpot was over a million and I hit the minor jackpot which was 105,000.
Received a call last night from a company called dispute systems ic. The guy I spoke to said it appears there was no machine malfunction and told me the funds should be deposited into my account within 48 hours, I guess they are an auditing company. He said he knew a woman who won 1.2 million and took money out in increments of 9,000 a week.
Still not sure what to do...waiting till money hits accounts...if it hits account then I have a decision to make. Will keep you posted

Check how many deposits of $9,000-ish you can make before the IRS gets notified. Read an article recently of small business owners getting their entire accounts confiscated because they kept depositing weekly income of between $5,000-$9,000 and the IRS said that was suspicious and possibly criminal. And they were just small business owners (beer distributors, pastry shop owners, etc.).

Awesome!
Congratulations!

Tell them to check for malfunctions on all your losing spins and your losing sports wagers were input incorrectly by you.......get a refund. Any and all malfunctions are between them and that third party, unless they prove fraud on your part.
I don't like the sound of that.
