Anyone Ever Play The Don't Pass WITH 6 & 8 at Same Time? HOW DO YOU LIKE TO PLAY CRAPS?

Heard it was a great grind system and after you get 2 hits on 6 and/or 8 you take the 6/8 off and wait for the 7. Also the don't insures (for the 7 out).
 
ANYONE LIKE THIS? IF NOT ANY SYSTEMS FOR CRAPS ANYONE RECOMMENDS?? THING IS I CANNOT PLAY FULL ODDS BECAUSE LIMITED BANKROLL. ONLY HAVE $400 FOR A $10 TABLE.

When I would play the Don't pass line I would put $20 on the Don't Pass and then $41 NO 4 or 10 with a $1 Yo. This would be before the come out roll.

After the Point is established place $34 action on the 5,6, and 8 (even if the point is one of the #s) and take down your $41 NO 4 (the $41 NO 4 or 10 is more or less insurance on the comeout roll if they roll a 7 so you can replace your Don't Pass $20). You are just hoping that a 4 or 10 is not the point that gets established on the comeout if you have either # for $41. Then throw $5 in the field. With this way of playing you will be paid on every roll as long as it is not a 7.

If a 5,6,8 is rolled you are paid $14 but lose the $5 field. If 2 or 12 is rolled you are paid $10 for the field while if 3,4,9,10,11 are rolled; you are paid $5. If the field hits replace your $5 for the next roll.

Basically try to get a hit or 2 on the 5,6,8 and then take down your place #s and stop placing field bets and wait for the person to 7 out.

If you are just trying to grind out and take down your place #s after the 1st or 2nd hit you will make a little money every roll as long as you don't try to get greedy and then teh 7 comes out with $39 out on the table.

Just play the pass line, come line and take your max odds....the best way to play

Depends on how the dice are doing...
 
I prefer to play pass line with Max odds .. Some casinos here allow you to play 100 x odds.  I then usually play the inside numbers. 
 
One I have hit 3 inside numbers or 2 inside numbers and a pass line... I will raise my bet on each called number a unit every time it is hit and collect the rest of the money.
 
Watch your shooters.. some guys can't roll to save their life so be a little more conservative.
 
If the table is really cold I will play Don't pass... If the point becomes a 6 or 8. I will play don't pass and try to get a 4,5,9, or 10 and move the bet on the don't pass line as odds on that number.
 
Ultimately it is a game of patience and a grind... waiting for that magical 30 minute roll or longer. Once I bang it I usually color up and go do something else.

i ALWAYS play the dont pass unless its a hot shooter,,people always crap out,,sometimes u get guys who  roll alot of numbers before crapping out so i will put some money on some numbers depending on a few things,,and always press,,,also throw 5 a piece on all the hardways before the come out roll and they are always working,,parlay all my hardway bets,,,u will be amazed how many time pairs come out in bunches

There's a good post in here somewhere about playing craps.  I don't remember who it was but he's a dealer and said to basically str8 bet your numbers and press all the way.  If you hit a hot shooter then you'll make serious cash.

I thought my senses were right about you...press hardways etc..haha

I MIGHT play hardways when I am up, maybe once or twice but they are pure sucker bets and I have learned that from too much experience.

The real money is in progressive betting the FIELD



I am so conservative and superstitious that I rarely play the come out..rather I will place the point..if I like the number, then play the sister to the number or the 9. If I hit a few then I move it up or across to get the inside working..then move them up and off.

People play every single turn as if it will be the 30 min turn when in reality those 30 min turns come once a night, maybe twice.

rickster was the dealer who talked about this and got hammered by a few people about it last year some time..but he is right, odds are best when you play the pass line with full odds..no combination yields a positive return, as Vanzack would say but the pass line with full odds is the best that we can get.

hey wall, good to see u,,,no action for me 2nite because it was mostly just nba on the board,,,not goin out 2nite,,just a few beers at home,,,market held its own today till about 3:00  then tanked,,,as far as hardways and horn -type bets go u are right ,,they are sucker bets,,however,,,u have to bet them every roll and not just try to pick and choose and time it,,it can be costly when it goes cold but watch it pour in after just a couple hardways parlayed

I thought the Don't Pass with full odds was the least percentage in favor of the house.  I have been wrong before.

Wallstreet, I heard only farmers play in the field.  That is what dealers always told me.

suckers play the field, my comment was in FULL jest, especially with the progressive kicker added..haha

boiler, I cannot do that, especially action on the come out, I have seen too many people get buzz sawed throwing stuff out there like that time after time after time..no way for me.

I am a more deliberate and slow craps player..bide my time and try to avoid traps like high/low and hardways..

i agree wall,im just saying when i do play the horn or hardways  imin for a certain amount of rolls,,for example,,i see time and time again people who play hi- lo a few times,,it doesnt come out and the roll after they stop betting it it comes out,,,the point is if u have deep pockets to absorb  it u are better off playing it every time instead of jumping in and out,,usually when im up ill do that,,,craps is agreat game to play for not so much loot for a long time if u want,,,,always parlay my hardways,for example,,i got 5 bucks on all the hardways on the come out,they're working always so lets say a pair of 3's comes out,,my five is now 50,,i parlay it and hope a hard 6 comes out before an easy 6 or a 7,,if so my 5 becomes 500,ill always take that risk

I am with you on that and I have seen MANY people fill the racks with that parlay the hard-ways theory..of course they give it back when the table goes icey-dicey..

I like action players, guys who pound it..as long as they arent annoying idiots, people who know what to play and how to play are the best players to be on the table with..versus the drunk morons who put their hands in the middle or who short throw on the rail.

nothin like a good craps table with alot of action,,no matter where u are in a casino u can always hear the noise comin from a hot craps table

Something that's worked for me is I start with the player and after the point put one come and then at least one times odds. When
player 7 outs I play the don't and then don't come with one odds.
This way I take advantage of a HOT or COLD table. If table goes back and forth and is choppy i can get killed but WHEN A LONG RUN COMES ALONG I WILL DO WELL. Seen many long 7 out runs and I did quite well with this system more times than not.
Still not the perfect way to play.
Sometimes I will just place 6 & 8's and NOTHING ELSE and
hard to get burnt with that even in the long run!

Most of us know it is a negative EV Van, doesnt mean it cannot be fun to play and take the risk anyway.

I am commenting on the advice given by 90% of the posters in this thread so far.  "depends on how the dice are doing", "hot tables, cold tables", and pressing is advice of the blind leading the moronic.

read the whole thread,,,now i may not be as smart as ur arrogant ass vanzack,but what i can get is this,,,1,,,all rolls are exclusive,,as in there is no such thing as a number is ''due'' to come up,,2,,,,there are ways to grind out a profit with correct mm,,,,3,,,as the rickster put it,and i agree and identify with this idea the most,i assume my money is gone ,,wouldnt be gambling if i thought any other way,,i am not there to grind i am there for a ''score'' as rickster out it,,,so i play inside #'s and press the shit out of them,,also lparlay the crap out of my hardways,,i lose like everyone else to an extent,but when i hit, i hit big ,,i have had some huge nites and to me that is fun

Your #1 is true.

Your #2 is absolutely false.  Tell me how to "grind out a profit" on a negative EV game and you have rewritten mathematics and probability.  IF you did actually read the whole thread, you either didnt understand it or you need to read it again.  No MM system in the world allows you to "grind out a profit" at a negative EV game.

Your #3 only proves that you are a losing (entertainment) gambler.  Nothing wrong with that, but please correctly identify yourself.  If you choose to participate in a negative EV wager for the thrill of it, then you are a losing gambler by definition.  Sorry if that offends you, but it is just the truth.

As for my arrogance, the downside of being right all the time is that people tend to assume you're arrogant.
