Bitcoin WILL implode because it's designed to. That's why Litecoin and Feathercoin are trending now....also which are designed to end.
With each passing the processing becomes more complex, requiring advanced tech. and becomes unprofitable as it keeps going.

why? No faith in digital currency? Obviously the lack of current security will keep bitcoins from growing into anything of real economic substance, but it is a solid foundation that will most likely evolve into a stronger and more useful digital currency. The media is driving this price sky high and it most likely will crash, but as we see future versions roll out things could change as the usefulness of digital currency are embraced. Security is the number one priority though.
