BMW

Question

To this date, all my families had own numerous BMWs. I've always liked their styling and the style never fades after years. Plus, they have always been technologically advance than other automakers by a year or two. Their engines are superb, but their repairs are atrocious.

Is it time for a change? I'm thinking of going Korean. Especially, Kia. Lend me your thoughts.

My girlfriend loves her kia optima, but she doesn't know shit about cars, and all I can tell you is that I don't like the feel of the steering wheel, its very 'tight' and wants to snap back to the center so badly that its awkard to drive.

I can tell you that I love my Altima coupe! I recommend white with some window tint, or a complete blackout, no chrome trim, and red leather seats

Tough to go wrong with Honda/Toyota. Even Hyundai has some nice looking cars.

The RWD Genesis Coupe is sexy... or you can go with the 5 liter sedan.No.Get a Cadillac CTS-V Coupe  you won&#x27;t do it!!

a lot of people feel the same way you do and end up getting an Inifnity. G37 and their other cars are nice. Acuras are pretty nice too. Lexus too if you like automatic. Their pretty reliable and you could get a good deal on used ones too if you look.

BMW&#x27;s are pretty eye-catching while staying pretty &#x27;classy&#x27; and conservative, they do that the best.Lexus  unless you can get something ridiculousInifniti G37 Coupe  GORGEOUS car.  So gorgeous that it is an exact clone of my altima coupe!!  G37 Coupe  and  Altima Coupe sexy.

It will be a good contrast to your Cadillac CTS-V Coupe. The 556 horsepower will help you get home from the grocery store before your frozen foods spoil, so it pays for itself.

If I had to give up my Mustang, I&#x27;d get a Hyundia Sonata. Really getting tired of the mpg............but it&#x27;s paid for!&#xD;&#xA;Sonata has a turbo than runs on Regular that can crank 275-285 hp.......

I can&#x27;t afford my car... I mean I can, but I just got my first job out of college in January (guess it&#x27;s been a year already ) and I&#x27;m paying over $300/month for my car.  The payments kill me, thinking about paying for it for 4 more years is rough... especially considering I&#x27;ll have 120,000 miles on it by then at this pace, which is why I couldn&#x27;t lease.While we&#x27;re at it, I&#x27;d like to pay less for my student loans.Fuck bills.  Anyone know how to delete my account from my billers&#x27; radar?  Would be appreciated.

Thanks for all the response, gents.Spitfire,Cadillac does not deserve my interest.  The simple reason is it&#x27;s made for the elders. Though, they did tune up their CTS-V to compete with other luxury brand.  In my mind, Cadillac will always be for the elders. I have had a coupe once before, in my teen years. It was a Honda Accord.  Two doors create more of a hassle than it does with convenience. However, if I was to acquire a car with two doors, it would have to be a convertible.  Perhaps, a Z4....................................Posters,Audi is great, though, I never have quite lean on their styling.  It is somewhat odd.  The reasonable car I see are the Hyundai Sonata Hybrid, Kia Optima, Kia Rio.  What ever happen to natural-aspirated engines?  Seems like most car manufacturers like to insert turbos in all their engines nowadays.

Geez, they don&#x27;t deserve your interest because they are made for elders  I don&#x27;t know too many senior citizens who like to go 0-60 in under 4 seconds.Do you have kids?  If not, why not go coupe?You want luxury but are talking Kia?

From what I gather, he doesn&#x27;t like domestics. That notion is so dated its disgusting. If you can find a better handling and/or running car than the new 5.0 Mustang, you are more astute than I. Late model BMW&#x27;s have been trash lately, having some of the worst long term maintenance costs in any almost every class. The new 2011 Sonata is an OUTSTANDING vehicle. In fact, it won the International Car of the Year and was a COTY contender in almost every publication.Can&#x27;t go wrong with the Hyundai. Lacks status and real upper-end qualities but you won&#x27;t have to invest a nickel during the life of ownership. 5 year bump-to-bump, 10 years power train? It&#x27;s about as worry free as one can get when purchasing a new vehicle.

Spitfire,I apologize for the misunderstanding.  I&#x27;m looking at Korean automakers, sort of speak. The warranties are what piqued my interest in Hyundai &amp; Kia.  Not only that, they have made major improvements throughout their lineup of cars. For such price, I find them highly competitive than most luxury items these days.Thanks.

I have a 2003 e46 M3 and I love it, drives phenomenal, fun as shit, and looks amazing.

Second BMW I have owned however and both of them have been pains in the ass maintenance wise. I don't go to the dealership b/c I have a good mechanic I trust, but still I have paid a lot in maintenance costs over the years.

Still I will never drive another brand of cars, they just drive so well. Planning on getting an e92 M3 or new 535i for my next purchase in a few years.

if your going BMW/Audi/Benz more than likely the cost of owning isn't a problem

to think todays family cars have 300hp is amazing

The new mustang has 300hp and gets 30mpg on the freeway all for about 30k----- not a bad way to go
