Are people really too busy chasing that next promotion in their work lives to remember what is most important to us?
PRIORITIES people.
Which is it? "Corporate Fukks" (your words #2 post) or "people" (above)... Wait, Wait... I got it "Corporate Fukks" ARE "people"... So "people" plotted and planned the murder of this infant!!!
This situation is not funny, or humorous in any way, shape or form... It is a tragedy... The father made an error, to say the least. If he has a conscious/soul he is in his own hell right now for what he has done and will pay for it till the day he dies. I feel remorse for the baby and no sympathy for him. That babies death was probably not quick and merciful.
And to blame those "Corporate Fukks"... Right... I bet every large corporation has at least one department dedicated to planning and executing the murder of the employees infants in the most horrible way possible...

I was thinking the same thing, but when 'work' and 'father' were used I was thinking it's probably not black. If it was 'Wal-mart' and 'mother' then it's a lock

Takes thought and extra time to buckle an infant into the rear car seat before you drive. Then you KNOW your first destination is day care. How do you forget this sequence?

There are times I drop off my child at daycare and as I drive away I still look into the back seat to make sure she's not there knowing full well that I just dropped her off. It's these stories that got me second guessing myself and doubly making sure. It's a tragic story and this obviously won't be the first nor the last.
These corp fuks- well, that's a whole different story.

When something matters and is of high value I tend to double and triple check just to be sure..examples are kiddo, garage door, cell phone, wallet, car being locked properly.
No doubt it is a very very sad thing and it happens every summer. There is nothing more valuable than the life of a child, I have no idea how someone could forget about dropping AND not hear the kiddo while they are driving to work AND not look back due to habit.
