In one group you put high earning, well educated, high performing professionals and in the other group you put people that were struggling to make ends meet, under educated and generally low performing individuals ... What group do you think would have more people that smoke pot on a regular basis?
First off, most people don't smoke weed on a regular basis. Most millionaires don't smoke it, and most poor people don't smoke it.
Tell Richard Branson that pot keeps you from reaching full potential. Tell Ted Turner. Tell Brad Pitt. Tell Barack Oboma. Tell Stephen King. Tell Betty White. Tell Paul McCartney. Tell Johnny Depp. Martha Stewart, Morgan Freeman, David Letterman, Jennifer Aniston, Lady Gaga, Miley Cyrus, Michael Bloomberg, Bill Gates, Bill Maher, Jon Stewart, Carl Sagan, Stephen Colbert...
Many of the above millionaires and BILLIONAIRES have smoked more pot than you would care to believe, will continue doing so, and they seem to be doing fine. How can that be? It contradicts everything you said.
You're just wrong, and I don't think you realize how many people smoke weed. It really does not inhibit potential at all. In fact, I believe it can help you in many ways achieve what you want to.
Would you care to guess how many successful musicians toke on a regular basis? But how can they make millions, memorize lyrics, write music, and perform in front of sell out crowds 5-6 nights a week when they're smoking an amotivational drug on a regular basis?
Some successful people smoke weed. Some don't. Some successful people drink. Some don't. The same can be said of poor people. You seem to think a drug inherently holds people back when the truth is, it's not true. It has more to do with drive, motivation, intelligence, desire, will, and sheer luck.
You've listened to too much propaganda... too many lies. In my opinion, you need to rethink everything you think you know. No offense meant dude, that's just how I see it.
