Do you stay in touch with your ex or do you split off completely?

For those of you that have ex gf's or ex wives, do you stay in touch with them and remain "friends" or do you just split completely?  If there are kids involved, then of course you have to stay in touch for obvious reasons.  Personally, I think it's difficult to remain friends. I think it's better to just have a clean slate and move on.  Thoughts?

No chance.  I couldn't control myself....I'd want to rip off her clothes and do her.  She was a squirter and was muliply orgasmic (8 was the most ever...and I am NOT kidding).  She would also insist on swallowing when she gave me a blow job.

Took me a long time to get over her....no chance I could handle just hanging out.

Although I did date one gal that I was OK with being friends with....I am the one who broke it off, though.  That makes a HUGE difference.  In the end, it was too hard for her to just hang out.

Talk to my ex all the time. She is married with 2 kids now (mistakes). No big deal. I like to think I'm mature lol

You're so not over her

My ex was the same way, she was a gusher and never wanted to stop having sex but as the years have passed since we broke up she's become dirty to me, no reason for it other than we broke up & I dont wanna go back

 It may take a while........you split up for a reason..........but I have friendly relationships with my ex's...............except my last gf. We split about a year ago & I haven't talked to her once in that time. But it's no loss for me. She had little to offer besides her issues......

Haven't seen my ex since 2002, but thru the wonders of texting and IM'ing I speak to her at least twice per week

I'm over her...I'm not over the sex.  In the end, I finally figured out she wasn't the nicest person.  Took a long time to separate the emotional ties from the physical ties.

best to cut ties especially if u want to move on ur her to move on. you broke up for a reason, whats the point of staying in touch, just too weird for me.

Still talk to her occasionally, and i bang her about 532x during the worlds largest outdoor cocktail party (its the one weekend i see her all year) She just got married and her husband doesnt know

Serious longterm GF's completely cut ties.  The short term more sex then emotional relations always remain friends as they are usually down for more of what the realtionship was about if you are in a dry spell.

I was married for 23 years and was with her 2 years before that.Its been almost 2 years now and since divorce was final a year ago,I can honestly say that I have no contact with my ex now at all.I moved away 1900 miles so that helps.  Even though I have 2 great daughters that I talk to that are 21 and 23 that both live on their own ,we never discuss my ex nor do I  want to hear about their mom. People can grow completely apart..I did and moved on with my life.
