Man, how can you be married 23 years and get divorced ?  I'm guessing someone really messed up ?

I think I would want to make sure everything is alright.

Its amazing as the person you love the most you end up hating the most.

some i have, some i haven't...one of them still calls me on my birthday 10 yrs after the fact...

 Oddly enough, it seems to be a trend. I know several couples that have split up after 20+ years of marriage...........just learned of another last week..........& in each case it wasn't infidelity...........more like boredom or lost respect from what I can tell.

Clean split..saw an old gf from hs last week in from a starbuck's in our old hometown....f&*k, she looked absolutely horrendous....to think I used to rawdog that 20 years ago with no longterm consequences almost makes me want to head back to church

Facebook...I have dropped my accounts three times...former FWB and FB's colliding with family and currents "  F That"...

I keep a "Witness Protection Profile"...only way to go with Ex's......Marriage (yeah right) = Institution of the unhappy indebted, and beguiled ...

HS/College, 20's yes I kept in touch.. now late 30's .. no thanks .. move on .. remember the good times .. i'm now attracted to women 10-15 years younger .. it works ..

I wonder how many of those after a few years and a relationship or two, wish they didn't get divorced afterall

Was married for 9 yrs and I still speak to my ex..Yes, their is a child...We are more cordial and respectful toward each other now than when we were married!..We laugh alot more now..I guess the pressure is off..LOL

Seriouslty though, arent you guys busy enough with life and dealing with the issues of your current gf or wife to worry about Ex's? Even the one ex gf who l thought we would be friends,  l have not had contact with for over 4 years. I guess for me it is " out of sight out of mind".

Does your ex cross paths with your current significant other? Also, do you think it's weird that your ex is friends with your significant other and they would go shopping together?
