I was at a crap table in Atlantic City must have been mid 1980's. It was like 3am, only a few of us there, and Dangerfield told everybody to "come on in" gesturing with his hands to "gather round". He whips out a small pipe, fills it up, and proceeds to bogart the entire bowl. WTF??? Then he tells everybody to "Break it up, OK, break it up fellas". WTF???

To my surprise up walks Yogi Berra and the Italian singer Jerry Va!e.......They both sit down and buy into the game. Cannot remember much more than that.....My thought at the time was, what was the common connection that brought these two celebrities to hang out together.

Me and the wife got invited down to Cowboys training camp in August of 2008 (Hard Knocks was there as well) by an active player who I am close with from my college days..
S weare on the sideline watching practice one afternoon, there were a bunch of old time cowboys there as well, Lily, Dorsett, Staubach, etc. i was in total awe. So as I was meeting a few of them I get distratcted and forget about the wife for awhile, when I was done and turn to look for here. There is Ed too tall Jones laying the mack down hard on her, just flirting big time with her...I didnt' know what to do so I just kinda stood there and stared at them till Jones noticed me staring...He then looks down at my wife's hand, sees the ring..And just starts laughing says he didn't realize and invites both of us to a dinner at Cowboy HQ later in the evening...it was pretty sweet, and a story me and the wife will always have to smile and laugh about...
Oh and I might add Ed Jones is pretty great guy too

Met a lot of celebs gambling around town. Best was Charles Barkley, just because he's so funny and was having a good time. Got obliterated with David Wells on a craps table one time...the big man know how to party. Golfed with OJ Simpson

I played 17 and 18 with Earl Anthony (bowler) as it was gettting dark years ago at a local public course. Anthony and his brother in law joined our group on 17. Good guy. I met Virginia McCaskey, owner of the Chicago Bears at a funeral about 10 years ago. Classy lady. She was still driving her own car.

One summer when I was about 19, I got a summer job at a golf resort in Biloxi MS. I worked the night shift at the hotel desk and it was all I could do to stay awake.
One night at about 4:00 AM, in walks Jimmy Buffet. He looked haggard and mildly intoxicated. I was a bit stunned and wasn't sure it was him.
I told him I had to imprint a credit card for incidental room charges. He didn't seem entirely pleased by that, but he whipped out his wallet and it unfolded about 8 times, revealing about 2 dozen platinum cards with the name Jimmy Buffet on them. He said 'which one do you want'? I said "doesnt matter.
I didn't have permission to check people into about 5 special suites which were always empty except when real big time high rollers who had reservations showed up. I gave him a key to one of those rooms because I knew that I would not get into any trouble whatsoever. And I didn't.
The next day, by noon, he was already gone. Nobody but me ever had any interaction with him, but had a million questions for me. "what was he like, what did he say, etc. etc.
