LC in Tempe was the Best... I Used to buy one ( get one Free ) every weekend when I was living there....They know how to make pizza..

Thank god I dont have to eat any kind of chain pizza.  Absolutely terrible and embarrasing for pizza.  Anyone from the NYC metro area will concur.  Only Arabs and some Afro Americans eat at these chains.

If I had to choose, it would probably be Papa Johns.

I worked there as a young guy during the pizza/pizza days and guess what? The product is exactly the same then as it is now, their base product hasnt changed at all.

the worst thing dominos did was introduce the freakin 5-5-5 deal

people will never get it out of their mind... the profit margins have diminished a ton... you could literally feed a family of 4 for $14 delivered to your door...

Different recipe..they had two different flour mixtures for the pan and the round, the pan had a stranger smell and they pressed it out with olive oil and a square plastic tool..

Another interesting tid bit, with the hot and ready, the prices NOW are less than back during pizza pizza days..

When I was in college it was "Pizza Pipeline"

$9.99  = large one topping Pizza + 2 large drinks

splitting a Pizza with a friend was the thing to do and gave the phrase "Ive got 5 on it" another meaning...

Bread sticks were like $2 extra once you go the pizza...  they also had cinnamon sticks with extra dipping sauce which meant for $6 you got dessert...

Everytime I make my pizza, I call Pizza Hut, Dominos, Round Table, Papa Johns's, and others, just to tell them "FUCK YOU", I make the best pizza.

Now in terms of what you are talking about...

Pizza hut was the best for me growing up until I realized that it is all grease, especially the pan pizza (my fav)

Little caesers just sux...

Papa Johns has good dipping sauce with the butter-garlic thing and giving out a pepperocinni.  but the pizza is mediocre...

The new dominos is less greasy then the the alternatives and now has like garlic powder on the crust to make it more appetizing...

There is a special at the dominos by where I live that is $4.99 for a large one topping pizza (I usually get pepperoni)... once again "I got 5 on it" works again...

I feel bad for you guys.....ordering from one of these places is a last resort. New York and Chicago pizza places have been kind to me my whole life.
