It was off the coast of Southern California. They hauled the big shark on to the back of their truck in plain sight of other motorists. It's not every day where you get to see a big shark while driving. The picture is in the link below.

Makos could be cooler than Great Whites. The Killer Whales can kill the Great Whites but not the Makos, they are too fast.
Speed bursts of up to 60 mph. Only the Marlin/sailfish can beat it so they say.
I open water scuba dived off the coast here in South Cal with Makos all around. They come at you and make a pass incredibly fast.

Been a tough year for me for Bass as the weather sux and the boat just blew an injector. On the subject at hand. I hope they had a short ride without being iced down. makes no sense to ruin the steaks thou I'm not sure how the huge mako's taste
