Gut feeling vs sharp bets vs research vs line movements

Question

Hi all, newer than most people to the sprots betting world, was wondering which of the above seems to work the best. They all have won me and lost me money. Gut is always solid, but i like putting some knowledge into my bets, where researching comes in handy but than i start over thinking my plays. Playing along with the sharps money seems legit, but they are laying much larger amounts and can afford to which changes things. Line movements seem to be a bigger hit these days also. Thanks all input appreciated!

How do can you be sure every bet is a "sharp" bet if that's the way you choose to go?

If you decide to go with "line movement," what does that mean?

What does "research" mean?

You can't possibly evaluate ANYTHING if you don't attach a definition.

What if you "research" and find out that the team you want to bet on beat the team they are playing against by 12 the last time they played. The line is currently 5. Are you going to automatically bet on the team laying 5 because of your "research?"

My favorites are to combine 1. Gut feeling and 2. REVERSE line movement.&#xD;&#xA;If still lacking the full confidence needed, check the stats/previous scores aka research.

The best system is the one that u can discover progressively within the numbers. It can remain consistent at a greater %. It took me 12 plus yrs to discover this.

Find the best number-pick your spots &amp; look for a reason to fade the consensus. The majority is usually wrong.
