Not really... After a couple years I did get 12K(Lawyer got 4 of it) I couldn't sue for a huge amount because I had limited tort on my car insurance. My Lawyer told me that I was lucky I got what I did.

Makes you wonder how people out there sue huge companies for millions of dollars over silly claims..

From what I heard, the whole fiasco cost the R.R, several hundred thousand dollars while they tried to clean up the bridge but they had to have many other outside companies come in and help because they had to shut down traffic for a week. They ended up tearing the 1/2 of the bridge that they were responsible for.

38 yrs ago today,5-21-73, ko'd playing rugby, actually it was a compression fracture of my 5th vertebra, woke up in hospital 6 1/2 hrs later, creepy part is I have no recall of that day, even as of today still can't, last thing I remember was the night before went to a ball game, next thing I know wake up in hospital 24 hrs later.

I believe this is called retrograde amnesia. Happened to me in 7th grade when I fell off my bike going home from school. I woke up the next morning, in a hospital bed, with no clue how I got there at all. Talk about a freaky experience.

I was only knocked out for a few seconds...got up, pushed my bike home (pedal was broken) and my mom later told me they knew something was wrong because I kept repeating the same thing over and over. To this day, I have no recollection of the time between falling off my bike and waking up 16 hours later in the hospital
