high risk virus attacks on covers .com

My Norton anti-virus is blocking an attack by a high risk (severe) virus coming off of covers/ general discussion and game threads. The name is zimbolly.com--source address is 188.72.198.17-----if covers is not aware of this they should be, and I want to pass this info on to everyone who reads or posts on covers ----let's keep a good site going !!

yep...my antivirus has been warming me about certain pages here.

This been going on for awhile now . My other comp crashed and is shit now which I didn't know it was from here and now for a few weeks this one is on its way out . Cover should pay for everyones comp to get repaired that this site fucked up with all their spam bullshit ads ect

I posted about this a few weeks back. They are saying it''s one of the ads on the side.

My anti-virus program runs daily.

It almost always finds nothing.  Occasionally it will find one.

For the past couple of weeks it has been finding 2+ every time I run it.

IMO, it’s pretty obvious at this point it’s coming from covers.

Covers doesnt have that many bugs.......its prolly from other sites. 

I dont see any coookie stuffing or anything like that, As far as internet security goes we are relatively safe here. 

Safer than FB and alot of mobile apps like foursquare.....

Funny thing is now I click on any new page. I get a warning saying that the page was modified to prevent cross-site scripting?

And as for those Norton pieces of shit. I would bet anything they pay hackers to create new shit. Then flood those markets with Norton ads.

Everything is updated on my computer and covers is by far the most dangerous site that i go on.

I am having a lot of problems here.  

I just started a thread and it submitted my comment 2 times before i hit submit once

The mobile iphone thing is also not even worth using with all do respect.

When you're on a page for 5 seconds if you don't make a selection it will just go blank ... or at least mine does.

There are vulnerabilities in the Adobe Flash Viewer, which is used for any kind of video clip.  Adobe keeps fixing them but hackers keep finding more.

I get redirected to a bunch of bullshit ads.

download avast free and run a scan 

run a malware and adware scan 

Defrag your computer 

If this doesnt clean up your pc, back up your important files and wipe your hard drive.

If this does't work contact Magic Johnson's doctor because i am pretty sure your computers all have  AIDS

Judging from the garbage ads that have popped up here recently, they seem to have gone with a questionable ad network recently or their ad network they use changed what they push to the site.  The giveaway is when you have ads like that stupid blinking, smiley face saying you are the 1000000th person or whatever it says.  Not good regardless, usually means the ad network doesn't bother with making sure ads aren't malware.

It took a computer tech 3 hrs to get my computer running right , the only site I get virus warnings is Covers an now they are advertising Norton.
