There is a traditional chart of odds that is used, pegged to what the pointspread is for the contest.If the football favorite is -7 for example,then the ML would be -350 on the Fav and &#x2B;250 on the Dog.This is only a starting point and you may note that some places don&#x27;t put a MLup until the # has been bet into and of course the book manager may shade the ML due to personal bias or betting history.These are 2 separate lines and pointspreads/moneylines usually are independant of each other in regards to movement.

Also, a home team with the same point spread will usually have slightly worse ML odds than a road team.  Maybe -165 vs -170
