alcohol has ruined more lives than all drugs combined. prohibition was the birth of organized crime. somebody is making way too much money keeping weed illegal so i fear it will never be totally decriminalized. there is no way the weed is any worse than alcohol and thats just a fact

Not to mention it also fills our jails with people who shouldn't be there... but wait a minute.. i forgot the same people who are fighting the legalization are the same ones who own the jails.. more government money for them, so they make money taking payoffs then they get paid on the back end as well,, hmmmm.. i'd rather worry about gay marriage, and how many bullets i can buy at one time. the same assholes complaining about being taxed too much seem to be the same ones being paid by the american tax dollar

The drugs on war is not a failure. Those criminals might have money but it doesn't go a long way for them, I mean they're killing each other off by the tens of thousands which includes their leaders. A lot of their money gets confiscated by the authorities.
Lastly go give your argument to the Attorney General who doesn't think it's a wise idea. He is telling california they better not legalize pot or else face legal issues with the U.S. government.
