I suppose this contraption has to be registered so the State can make initial revenue and eventual money down the line when the "Captain of the table" gets the DUI.

Not sure Nature but I think if you build and sell these the Coast Guard needs to visit you so that it's show's how many lb's you can put on it and things like that before you can sell and register one , I like those , they look good to take around a lake.
As for the squirrel picnic table I got enough squirrel's around the house and more chipmunks this year than ever before.

Tried to get chipmunks close to me but they never crossed the barrier. On the ground level I used to keep the window open with peanuts on the window sill. They'd come. They ate and looked at me like I was easy. Could not get them inside the house by moving the peanuts inside.

not sure the state by state rules to homemade water craft. When my Dad built canoes we had to design serial numbers so that the town could register them for a motor. We didn't get into the weight allowance for the boat. Or any of that hang ups. This craft is no more than a picnic table on a raft with a motor.... but again outside of Maine laws may be different.
