Unfortunately, neither does the practical approach. Even if this guy digs himself out of this, he'll be back in trouble before too long. You know the gig....unless you decide to hold your nose to the grindstone and truly make some changes, it's the same old, same old.
Notice how he didn't say, "I'm quitting and I need help to get even." He just wants a way to get out of this. He'll be back in trouble again down the road. Nothing against him and I wish him well, but that's just the way it goes.
