He's going free.  To bad....He's probably better off in prison   ..Where is he going to live?...How can he Make money? ( He made a lot when he was in sports and movies)....Kinda is like starting life completely over from scratch....So many loose ends to re-attach.

Main thing with his new found freedom is how the general population will react and interact with him......Simpson is not your average Joe Schmoe just released that can blend back in easily cause nobody knows who he is.

Egotistical liar Simpson will not have it too easy in my opinion....Many people hate him for the two murders he escaped prosecution from and will have nothing to do with him....Simpson having to deal with negative people all day and nigt will make him somewhat uncomfortable in that regard.

Then there are the Goldman/Brown families....They are going to hound him day and night to collect on their civil judgement.

Any money Simpson could possibly earn ( If any one would hire him ) would go to the Goldman's.....Not a pretty picture for big paydays for Simpson ( maybe a book deal---that always will raise some cash)..However  Why do it if you get no money out of it??....,....You just know some sleazy liberals are most likely going to play him favorably and hard and to prop him up as a big deal as they smell cash and TV ratings and will offer millions   ..So WHAT....After all is said and done the payments just goes to the Goldman's....The civil case judgement is over 50 million. ...Simpson stays broke.....Unless he can do strictly cash deals....but those are hard to come by nowadays.....And they have to be reported if over $10,000.00  ( chump change to him back in the day)...And if he got caught doing any major cash /laundering... ...back to jail..

Simpson is now 70....He will soon be needing somebody with lots of money to take care of him as he will have no money because of the judgement....I may be slightly wrong on this however as I heard somewhere he will be entitled to a pro football player pension once he gets out that will be exempt from the judgement....Will have to wait and see if this is true.....Hope it's not as the Goldman/Brown clan deserve the monies to help soothe their pain of loss.

He's not as goodlooking as he once was and he has been out of the public eye for nine years....An older, uglier Simpson " back in town" as they say.....Reformed by 9 years in prison? or still a danger to kill again?.....Robbery is not his thing, he won't do that again.....Passion and rage can drive a man insane and to do crazy things...Sorry to say...He was born with that trait ....Let's hope he can keep it under control.

Ya have to live here in LA to really understand what happened. This brings up some super emotions and memories for a lot of people, especially Southern Californians.

This ^^ but don't all of his kids currently live in Florida? I'd assume he's going there to be with them. Except for maybe Khloe Kardashian  - but that's another story for another day....

I'm not sensitive, for one. Secondly, I dropped a burning money bag jokingly because you were touting a pick and odds, almost facetiously, and the pick didn't come through. I never do that to anyone's real losses but since i'm quite sure you didn't have a +175 bet on OJ being denied bail, yes, I dropped a bag.
Now for the elephant in the room. I'm no fan of OJ Simpson but what are you really upset about? OJ probably got away with murder and he deserves to be punished but at the end of the day, he was acquitted. We all know you can't punish a person retroactively for a crime they were found innocent of just because they're found guilty of a subsequent crime, no matter how heinous said crime was. And as heinous as the crime was, the real question is why have to taken it so close to heart? You've only had like 25 years to get over it. There were equally heinous crimes in LA prior to this and there have been equally heinous crimes since. And OJ hasn't been the first person to beat a murder they were more than likely guilty of. Like i've said, Casey Anthony killed her own child so she could party for God's sake. White people try the racial nature of this crime on black people for the fact is white people are so passionate about this crime because OJ is a big black man and Nicole was a pretty blond girl. If Nicole's name was Latifah or some sh!t we wouldn't be having this conversation. So no, i'm not celebrating. Again, what do I have to celebrate? Some old, poor excuse for man getting out of jail just because we're both black. I was a child when this happened but i'm very much an adult now so i've grown pass letting race influence my feelings, leanings and opinions. Maybe you should try it.
p.s. Justice would've been OJ getting 5 years and getting killed in prison. Or atleast raped and beat. Justice isn't putting a man in jail for 33 years as a first time offender on a bogus rap because he "may" have have gotten away with a crime in the past. That trial was about race but it wasn't his race that got him off. It was reasonable doubt. And reasonable doubt frees killers of all races.

Someday you need to research the evidence and not make stupid comments...

The lawyer team hired by Simpson played the race card early and claimed that the racist cops of LA planted phony evidence.

The lofo jury bought into that line of defense hook, line and sinker, and voted to acquit.

Just because he got off does not mean he is innocent.

He was a good looking wealthy, charismatic, black celebrity and the black jury was there to help him out...AND they DID.

I don't have to research the evidence. This is not a new case to me. I say "may have" not because I believe he's innocent but because 1.He was acquitted and 2.None of us were there. So no matter how likely it is that he committed these crimes, none of us can say for sure that he did. And I, unlike most in these threads, don't go around passing off my opinions as facts. No matter how valid said opinions are. And since you took it upon yourself to chime in i'll ask you the same question. Why are you so upset? It has been over 20 years and there have been plenty of equally, if not more, heinous crimes since then. Why does this one bother you so much? That question is rhetorical, I already know the answer. It's the same reason it bothers Search. It's because he's a big black man and she was a pretty, blond, white woman. Like I said before, if her name was Latifah or something similar we wouldn't be having this conversation. If Terry Bradshaw would've been acquitted of killing his ex-wife, no matter how violently, you wouldn't be this upset.
You know it's funny, Black people bore the brunt for making this a story about race but the fact is white people were equally, if not more, complicit. The only difference is here in 2017 black America, with the exception of a few outliers, couldn't really give a damn about OJ Simpson or the fact that he's getting out of prison. This isn't a victory for us. This isn't Brown vs. THE Fxcking Board of Education. We're not celebrating because we didn't win anything. Meanwhile, white people in 2017, with the exception of a few outliers, are still harboring a racial grudge and turning one dips!t getting out of prison into some kind of salvo in an imaginary racial war.

 Simpson will probably be quite comfortable financially if and when he is released from jail, thanks to pensions that may pay out more than $25,000 per month — funds that aren’t subject to seizure by creditors.
