personally i would go, but that's just me, and i would not consider you a "bad" person if you decided not to go. Sincerely sorry to hear this, and try and stay strong for your family.

If i were on my deathbed and the final moments are upon me, i would want for my immediate family to say goodbye.

Your mother is probably not in a coma as you perceive it. The hearing and touch functions are involuntary and work properly even when you believe the person is completely separated from this world mentally.

Go...give her a hug and a kiss...say goodbye in her ear with an I love you and stand by when it happens. You'll be able to live the rest of your life in peace and send her away properly.

This is a tough question. Unfortunately, King Soloman in not a Covers Expert.

That being said, you will have to ask yourself "Will I feel guilty if I don't go?"

I lost my Mother June 5th.

I held her hand as she took her last breath.

I did not want to be there.

But, she was my Mom

in all honesty. do what you think is right.if you feel it will hurt yourself more then just dont do it. what is morally right? do what is best for yourself and your family.  if you never went then its fucked up.   you can only take so much pain. and its your mother. the women who gave you life.  good luck with your decision
