A Victorian man has pleaded guilty to brutally murdering his niece with a hammer, saying bushranger Ned Kelly inspired him to enter a plea.
Gavin John Brooker, 52, of Benalla, attacked Annette Brooker, 31, with a hammer before stabbing her in the chest during an argument at her flat in February.
-------------
I really like what the above guy did, good stuff.
Well done. I completely agree with what he did.
Society has determined that killing someone in most circumstances is immoral. If you like what the guy did, super. Good for you. Who cares if you like what he did? Society will process the guy as immoral, and he will deal with the law. Your opinion makes no difference because you are outnumbered by humanity.
What is so hard to understand?
Ok, so society deems me to be immoral.
So are my views absolutely wrong on this matter?

Reread what I wrote. At what point did I say society meant EVERYONE? At what point did I try and say you are ABSOLUTELY wrong? Do you even have a brain?
So, when u have a moment to yourself , ask,
"is Rostos absolutely wrong to think that raping and murdering little kids good?"

In the atheistic world, if i said that I think Denise Richards is better looking than Carmen Electra, it is not different to me saying raping little girls is good.
Hey, remember, there are no absolutes, everything is subjective. Each person decides what is right as there are no absolutes, isnt that right atheists....?
No different at all.
This is nonsense. I find it very offensive as the father of a 4 year old girl. Because I don't believe in God it's OK for someone to rape her? Are you serious? You don't even understand the atheists position to even attack at all.

Rostos operates on the fallacy of black and white thinking. It's like if I said "I don't like pepsi." Rostos would conclude I must like Coke, there's no other alternative. Perhaps I like Dr. Pepper? Nope, impossible.
Something cannot come from nothing. Therefore, must be the Christian God. Can't possibly be Moses or Buddha or the flying spaghetti monster. No shot it's any of those.
To quote a great man with the IQ equivalent to that of Rostos:
"If you're not first, you're last." - Ricky Bobby's Father
This is pure win. Rostos is not calling people who don't believe in "God" atheists. Anyone who doesn't not believe his God might as well be an atheists as well as Christianity like every other religion leaves no room for outsiders.
Fact is nobody knows how we got here, so there could be an infinate amount of possiblites. Rostos you have one lottery ticket in an infinate amount of lottery tickets. There is no reason to chose yours over anyone one elses, even one that some nut made up last Tuesday.

Because there are morons in this world who actually try and prove god exists, which is impossible. They take us on a wonderful journey on the ferris wheel of logic (circular logic...get it?)
But they don't see the circularity in their logic even when we try and show them...hence, 47 pages.

The author is uncertain; Jewish tradition regards Moses as the author; others have suggested Job himself as the author, date written uncertain, though some events recorded and vocabulary used suggest it was written during the time of the patriarchs, between 2000 and 1800 B.C.
The problem of human suffering is pondered by most everyone at some time or another. The book of Job addresses this ancient and difficult problem. It tells the story of Job, a godly man who endured enormous amount of suffering while remaining faithful to God. The story begins with Job losing his children, his many possessions, and even his own health---all within a very short period of time. Only Job's wife escaped the ruin that satan inflicted upon him. Then Job's three friends came to comfort him and to reflect on the purpose of his suffering. They each considered the basic question: Why must we endure suffering when God is powerful enough to do something about it? Job's wife simply declared it all unfair, advising Job, "Curse God and die" (2:9). Each of Job's three friends, Eliphaz, Bildad, and Zophar, delivered speeches accounting for Job's misery. A young man, Elihu, tried to summarize the situation with yet another explanation. But all of them failed to provide Job with a satisfactory answer. Finally, God himself spoke directly to Job, asking him a long list of questions that forced him to recognize his finite understanding of life. Job realized that ultimately God is in charge and knows what he is doing. So Job remained silent and stood in awe of God's sovereignty. In the end, God restored Job's health, possessions, and family.

you guys are so booksmart, why not try proving that God does not exist
Unfortunately for theists the burden of proof is on the person making the claim. For example if i told you I could fly, it's not your job to prove i can't, it's my job to prove i can. I made the positive claim.
God existing is not the default position. Nobody is born with a belief in God. Therefore making the claim there is a God makes you in the position to show it exists.

but if you can fly or not is something testable, a this isn't, A supernatural discussion like this has to be about why someone believes, obviously environment is a place to start
science has theories about the creation of man but they can't prove it, same as us not being able to prove God exists.
the big bang theory is no more testable than the belief of Christianity
science can't tell us the cure for a cold or how pyramids were built- but wants you to believe a theory that goes against the laws of energy about the creation of all things?
I believe Brunettes are hotter than blonds, can i prove it? no, same idea

Br. kitty why so harh language?
I can speak for myself that I haven't been debating anyone on here trying to prove that God exists but rather I have been pouring out my belief, my faith that God exists through my Christian teachings guided by the Scriptures in the Holy Bible.
I am well aware of the fact that it is senseless trying to prove or disprove the existence or non-existence of the Lord Almighty the Creator of all that the naked eye can see or can't see that exists. So I can agree with you that it is indeed impossible.
You can't see gravity or inertia but it exists. I can't see God but I believe he exists. I know I can't make a positive statement and say he does exists because people like you the "heathens" are going to confront me to prove to them, that positive statement I made is true, and like you said of which I agree with...it is impossible!
