SJD and Rostos. STOP. YOU ARE MAKING THE CLAIM THAT THERE IS AN INVISIBLE MAN IN THE SKY. I am saying that the only things that are here are the things that are here. The only things that exist are those that we can prove exist. You are the ones saying something exists that cannot be proven. I DON'T HAVE TO PROVE ANYTHING.
And we can FEEL gravity. Feeling is just as good of evidence for belief as seeing. With god, we can neither see, feel, hear, smell, nor taste god.
That proverb 12:23 says it best. You broadcasted your foolishness in your lack of understanding of the allocation of burden of proof.
And btw, your attempt at proving my logic circular fails at the first sentence. I never said "I know god doesn't exist." My claim is that without any convincing evidence, I will not believe god exists. There is always a possibility that he does, albeit a very small one.
Is love a real thing?

For you and I, believing in the Bible should be no different than believing in the Civil War. Neither one of us were alive to have first hand proof of it's existence. We rely entirely on second hand information and beyond in order to believe.
I'm sure you have no problem believing a war was fought in America in the 1860's only because you read a book telling you that it did.

I believe in micro evolution, but macro evolution is a religion itself.
No part of evolution is a religion.
It
is the branch of biology which explains biodiversity. As such it
doesn’t permit supernatural explanations, has no doctrines, nor dogma,
nor fables with morals; it has no rituals, traditions or holidays, nor
either leaders or defenders of the faith because it doesn’t allow
faith. It holds nothing sacred, there’s no place of worship, no
enchantments, no clergy, no fashion of garb, and it neither promotes nor
discourages belief in gods or souls, and says nothing about how we
should live or what happens after we die. Evolution is therefore NOT a
religion.
The above is from the video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HzmbnxtnMB4&feature=channel_video_title
The whole series of videos does a pretty good job at destroying your genesis fairy tale.
There are still two questions I've asked you theist and you keep running from them so I'll ask again.
1.
Name on anatomical feature that humans have that apes don't that separates us from being apes.
2.
1.Dirt 2.??? 3. Man
Describe step 2
You want me to take you serious? Then answer.

There are first hand accounts of the events of the civil war. News paper articles and such. People alive today could tell you their dead relatives that died in the war. It's not where near the same and there are ZERO reports of anything that defied the laws of nature...unlike the bible. No talking horses no dead soldiers raising up from the dead after three days. Apples and oranges my man

The "holy grail" of the enemies of Christianity is to find irrefutable evidence which proves that The Bible is a work of fiction. I can't imagine how many have spent the better portions of their lives trying to do just so. They're still on the clock...

You dotn even believe in God, how can you believe in hell?
How could anybody believe in it? Where is it? How does one burn with no body? I plan to be cremated when I die, if hell where real there would be nothing left of me anyway. Besides humans can't feel pain without a nervous system and you can't have a nervous system without a body. Fire can't burn without oxygen and atoms and fire can't burn a non materiel thing (souls). Think about it, if a ghost was in a house fire would it burn? Hell is an epic fail to anybody that understands even a little bit about science.
Now, your only defense is to make something up.

Snakes can't talk, neither can donkeys. Women can't have birth without male semen, and even if they could the child would be female, not male. Stars can't fall to earth, and the horn of a goat could not knock them to the ground. Fiction.

What about that donkey in the Shrek movie ?

Again, applying the rules of this world to something out of this world..........cmon man, you need to think more than that

KittyKatz, interested in your comments; "Evolution cannot be debated" and "this is fact". The very "facts" that you declare proves evolutions' "Man comes from ape" have a multi-million dollar bounty on their capture, for an explanation based on scientific reality, that is yet to be collected. You conclude evolution is "100% fact" that, "man comes from ape" and "will not address evolution any further". Though, you have my attention, what is the scientic explanation of evolution between ape and man that cannot be rebuked on the facts of science? I understand you are not a scientist, though that does not discount you from being intelligent. You don't need to translate intricate detail where you don't understand, just the main analysis to what brings you to believe that which you do.

There are historical records, fossils, bones, etc., that show the evolution of an ape walking on all 4 legs to an ape walking on 2 legs and then evolving further into humans as we are today. There are TRILLIONS of species in the history of our planet that have gone extinct. That is the process of natural selection. We are further evolving now as a species, we are constantly evolving. It is likely that in a thousand years, we will no longer be born with appendices, since we don't use them anymore. It is hypothetically possible that science could discover something of which we couldn't possibly fathom at this point in time that alters or in some way affects the theory of evolution. But given the vast multitude of tests performed over hundreds of years and the evidence we have in the world around us, there is absolutely no basis for refuting evolution as true.
And please, don't try and change the definition of the word "theory" like the others. Gravity is a theory as well. The theory of gravity is scientifically proven. For contrasting purposes, gravity is a theory whereas something like the fact that we live in a multiverse is a hypothesis. Every theory begins as a hypothesis. After countless tests are done to try and disprove this hypothesis, only then can it become a theory (obviously the tests would have had to not disprove it).

As opposed to making up the existence of a world out of this world AND making up the rules of that world?
Hell is nothing more than a man made assertion. Before he could state that natural laws don't apply out of this world he has to show that there is something out of this "world" and demonstrate that natural laws don't apply. He can't and he knows he can't.

Well...you are correct, but that is not entirely true. Rostos doesn't realize that he can't lol.

Hang on, as i said, belief in God and the aferlife is faith based.
Why are you mocking my faith?
All what i have said is that based on my knowldege, beliefs and faith, you cannot apply properties of physics, biology and maths to the after life...
That's not what you've been saying previously. Just now have you acknowledged that the basis for everything is faith. I can accept that. I'm just saying faith doesn't do it for me. If it works for you, by all means, I won't stop you.

Jewish writings tell that God is the spark inside you, the feeling you get in your soul when tough decisions lay at hand, some would call your conscious, or whatever but all I know it's been a great roadmap for me. It isn't about getting help to win a game because someone on the losing side might have prayed equally as hard. It's about living a good life, the 10 Commandments, etc.
Bad luck, good luck is why many things happen.
And Jesus existed but why do you need to follow the VP when you believe in the President? Part of the value of God to me is that I have no proof.

KittyKatz, appreciate the response, though it is what it is, up in arms "Harry Potter" banter. If there is no reason to rebuke evolution on your claims, there must be a scientific world view you can identify with at least the name of ancient man that evolved from these apes. Naturalism not based solely on scientific data, but also on gratuitous atheistic assumptions does not equal fact. Not interested in 1000 years from now and beyond, just the process between ape and man you are describing. Your ancient man and ape will have a name you can bring to the table. Signing out, so take your time. If you can direct myself with a more scientific explanation I will denounce my God. I'm not interested in gravity, opinions, but the information you can present on evolution that YOU endorse as truth being based on scientific fact.

Not sure exactly what you mean by this. As you said, you are signing out for the night and understandably so... so when you do return to this thread, if you could clarify, it would be appreciated.

There is no evidence showing the COMPLETE transformation from man to apes. Darwin himself said there should be an abundant amount of transitionary fossils.
140 yrs later we have found about 4 which are controversial at best
