A few Christmas' ago the wife got me one of the big ones like $30 as a stocking stuffer. Won $400, that was the last time I played.
I used to play here and there but stopped cold turkey years ago. Very frustrating to spend any amount on a scratch off and your prize is most often to win your money back. I find that aspect most insulting.
Also, its quite comical to hear people and their "strategies" to playing these. Like the gentleman just mentioned, "Stupid people tax".
