Don&#x27;t get nervous...yet! Fish and birds can die of bacteria and viral illnesses as well as humans. Birds dying of unknown causes can be an indicator of a serious problem such as bird flu. Bird flu is bird flu for a reason...birds get it and can pass it on to humans. Fish can get bacterial illnesses and pass it on to humans via consumption of the affected meat. The health departments in those areas and CDC are probably looking at both.

fish and birds are dying all over the world in the past week. new zealand, brazil... hundreds of thousands of them. I'm putting my money on government/military operations. this should be an interesting story to follow.

&#xD;&#xA;If it is true that birds and fish are dying by the hundreds of thousands that is more than an interesting story that is a big fricking deal.  That could really disrupt the food chain and cycle of life which would eventually filter back to us humans.  I hope that number is a bit exaggerated.  BOL!
