Strange things that have happened to you

I just mentioned Toledo&#39;s football team in a thread and I just randomly picked a team out of my head.  I never even think about them let alone bring up their name in any discussion.  A minute later I go to SBRforums in the first thing I see is a big picture of a Toledo Rockets helmet.I&#39;m driving down the road listening to a CD that I hadn&#39;t heard in a long time.  The lyrics mention a dragonfly one time in the song.  One second after I hear &quot;dragonfly&quot; I  see a license plate in front of me that reads &quot;DRAGONFY&quot;.  I&#39;m mowing the lawn and there&#39;s a stick.  To avoid running it over I pick it up and just toss it in the air.  There&#39;s electrical lines above me and somehow the stick balances itself on the powerline and stays there.  I shit you not.  I just stood there and looked at it in utter amazement.  It stayed up there for several months too.  No wind or rain caused it to fall until 2-3 months later.

At least once a year some ESP (whatever co-incidence..) hits me..

Once driving in the middle lane of a 3 lane highway,and no need to change lanes at all,I thought of trash in the road and just moved to the left lane.Couple minutes or less a pick-up truck dumps a lot of crap into the middle lane I would have been in..(I never saw the truck until after I switched lanes) This is @ 60 mph..

Not ESP but once a few years had to leave work and drive home to place a bet on a Sunday morning because the work pc was blocked..placed the bet ( dog KC vs Vikes) and on the way back I get behind a car with the tag BETBIG..and easy winner that game was..

You hear stories of people who have bailed on a doomed airplane flight,cause they had a bad feeling ..makes me wonder wtf

One time back in my irresponsible days after me and some friends just took some shrooms, one of the friends mentioned hitting a squirell while he was driving.. About a minute later while driving on the shrooms to our destination we hit a squirell in the middle of the road..

i have predicted the next 3 numbers in a row on a 90-number bingo, one by one. There were already 17 numbers out, so i predicted 3 next numbers one after another from the 77, 76 and 75 rest.

the odds of that happening are:

1/77x1/76x1/75 = 1 in 4389

my bro shitted his pants and stared at me in a disbelieve...

the next week bingo, he was begging me to do it again and i couldnt do it....and then one time it cleared for me again and i hit the next number only....nothing after that ( i didnt even try cause i didnt knew what will be the next number ).

this and similar situations have happened to me,....read somewhere that it happens to people born on saturdays mostly....like me

Back in the 1977,a friend and I were going back and forth arguing about some unimportant bullshit for over an hour.As I blurted out,"We need a Guiness Book of World Records to settle this", I hear the back door open.As my dad walks over to us,he tosses a book on the table we were sitting at saying, "look what someone gave me today at work".... yup you guessed it...a 1977 version of the Guiness Book of World Records.                                                                                              My uncle Rocco came to me in a dream months after his death.All he said was "Go ahead and do it" Next day I put $20 on the 50to1 longshot Giacomo to win the Kentucky Derby.Giacomo won and paid $102.80,the second largest payout for a Derby win ever..My uncle Rocco&#x27;s last name was Giacomo.

One of the strangest things that I ever saw - I was playing doubles tennis...my partner was receiving, I was at the net...we were playing a father/son team....the son was serving....father was at the net....first serve...he hit it...no one could find the ball, wasn&#x27;t in the net, didn&#x27;t go to the back fence...it&#x27;s as if it disappeared....well...he served it into his fathers front pocket of his shorts...I&#x27;ve seen servers hit the player at the net a few times...but have never seen the ball go into a persons pocket before. Not sure what the odds are on that....

A few times I&#x27;ve been able to guess the exact score of basketball games. I mean not just once or twice but more like 10 to 15 times. The problem is I keep thinking, well I got to miss this time so I don&#x27;t bet it big . One time I dreamt the bulls won by 11 the next day , line was 10 and I was chasing boom hit the bulls and told to bookie to go f uck himself. The dream saved me 3200 bucks

A buddy of mine and I were in downtown Minneapolis having a few. Got a wild hair to go back to our college alma mater (70 miles south of Minneapolis). Got down there and I noticed my wallet was missing. Decided there was nothing I could do about it at that time so we proceeded to party it up. Ended up getting layed by a chick I knew when I was in college (we had only graduated a couple of years before). Got home and there was a message on my machine. Some truck driver had found my wallet on 35W. I had put it on the roof of the car when we were leaving the bar. It stayed on for over 5 miles before it fell off. Not a thing was missing. Gave the dude $40 for his troubles.

Craziest co-incidence in my life..Late 80's used to hit Puerto Escondido, Mex every January with GF.Just hang on the beach for cheap 3 weeks.Great getaway from cold NJ..One year meet a couple next to us on the beach from Mass.They were a quite older than us,but they liked to party a bit and we all hung out.After the trip the girls maybe exchanged some photos through the mail,but that was that..

About 5 years later after split with that GF I'm living in FL and one day I am drinking a the local bowling alley bar and this guy taps me on the shoulder and asks if I had ever been to P.E.Mexico? friggin A..The guy had split with his chick and moved to the same area as me just a couple weeks beforehand stopping in the bar.What are the freaking odds on that?.

Some crazy stories here... &#xD;&#xA;Had a buddy in HS and he used to joke around all the time about worshiping the devil.  I witnessed him roll three sixes with three dice on a bible on his first attempt.  Could have been loaded dice but I don&#x27;t think so.  This was in the mid &#x27;80s and to find that would have been difficult.  I don&#x27;t even think he was old enough to drive yet.  He&#x27;s actually pretty normal now.&#xD;&#xA;I garbage you not.

Not necessarily strange, but definitely terrifyingly memorable...

During the Gulf War, I once saw 3 Scud missiles fly over my house, on their way to Tel Aviv, which I can see at the horizon miles away (i lived on a mountain). Seeing Scuds in the air was not the special part (it was a daily thing), The thriller was seeing Patriot missiles intercept them. What a sight to see in real life, even though I was shaking in fear, wearing a gas mask...
