I'm similar to you man ... i live in a city where i work a professional job ... moved here for the job. None of my work friends smoke (that i know of anyways) and i would never ask. When we get away to visit our other friends i try and stock up with a 1/2 ounce or something.
Funny thing is would be that half an ounce would last me a month just fine.....especially if it was of any type of decent quality.

Your post above makes a shitload of sense. No one smokes pot and robs convenient stores.....People that drink do though.....Why is weed illegal if booze isn't...
Oh yeah, I challenge any square out therte to show me one documented case of lung cancer or any other form from smoking pot.
Only cigarrettes and cigars, tobacco stuff.....
manufacturing booze isn't all that easy,,,,,marijuana is called weed because it grows like a weed ( a plant in an unintended place). A seed a little water and some sunlight and you have 3 months worth of free pot. VERY hard to keep people from manufacturing weed on their own thus it's hard to tax. liquor licenses are at least 300k for a bar, and they still tax the piss out of booze. war on drugs = lots of easy money and jobs for the gubmint

My two best friends that moved back out West from here were weed connoiseurs(sp?). We've all known the type. weed is like good scotch to me. I don't know shit about scotch or weed, but like them both when I have it good.
Funny, those guys couldn't pick out a decent bottle of vodka to save their lives....

Van, no update lately.. did you ever find any? I don't smoke. Well, I have had like one puff per year since high school 20 years ago. It makes me sleepy and/or nauseated. But, I do frequent a little hole-in-the-wall bar and half the people in there are constantly going out back to smoke. If you can handle the atmosphere I'd say hang out for an hour and see if you see people leaving in groups, then coming right back. Then just tell them your situation. Heck, you probably don't even have to ask them for any, they'll just hear your story and offer it up. I know these folks at this bar asked me all the time, until they all got to know me and realized that I wasn't kidding - I really don't smoke.

distilling is ILLEGAL. It is dangerous, but come on man.
If you brew your own beer, you can only brew up to like 200 oz's or something.
it is all about MONEY.
Money fighting it, money selling it, money incarcerating it,money curing it. IT goes on and on.
I don't want to go into specifics, but all you have to do is google IT, and you can have IT in a few months.

Hey van, sounds fuckin crazy but I had a dude I met on another website that sent me some Orange Bud in the good ole US Mail! Motherfucker wrapped it in three loose leaf papaers and rubbed old spice on it. pretty fucking funny, my wife was like, what is that. It sooo smelled. I would have double wrapped it with crisco.

Going to strangers is great. And its a great way to test how many people smoke, its way more than you think. What do you really have to be scared of? Its not like there is a cop on the corner posing as an everyday person to see if anyone asks him where to buy weed. I've met some good people in the process too. There's almost no way you get in any trouble unless you lose your $20 when they say they will come right back with it.

dude, in my teens and 20's I was a boozer, now at 36 Ive resorted to a nice toke after work and dip, maybe a scotch on the rocks, but lemme tell ya this- takin one toke after work is hands down the best thing about all of it since luggin a keg through the woods whe we were 16. your 40- you dont need to smoke a ton, Im tellin ya, just keep the tunes on all day take a few pokes by the trash cans out back or up the chimney when the old lady is walkin the dog and youll be set. get a glass bowl and hide it, 20 bucks worth of weed lasts me 2 months with this stadagy.
