Other news from New Orleans...the mayor Mitch Landrieu, Mary Landrieu's brother (yes, another rich white family), wants to remove four statues which he has deemed racist. One is the iconic statue of Robert E Lee at Lee Circle. One of the speakers at the meeting thinks the mayor isn't going far enough. Because some other streets and landmarks are named after slave owners those need to be changed as well. Using that logic we would have to change the names of any place that include Washington, Adams, Jefferson, Madison, Monroe, etc, etc, etc
