We statistically and financially boast the top military in the world. Tops in annual defense budget, purchasing power, naval ships and fighter jets, and just second behind China in military personnel. Competent, skilled and capable personnel, I'd say we lead the pack. So aside from terrorists and lone wolf attacks (which don't exactly happen every day here), I don't see where anybody else is chomping at the bit to pick a fight with that.
Kind of an insult to the people that represent this country's defense.
And for every one idiot that the media glorifies by trotting them out on main stage and scrutinizing your IQ with their tale(s) of futility, there are 99 others that are normal, well-rounded Americans.
Don't let the media, and the vote-grabbing, make you stupid trendy, bleeding heart headlines grab ahold of you. The more I recognize CNN, Fox and others as Enquire or STAR magazine news material, the better I feel about life here. Instead read about technology, medical advancements, inventions and other success stories. This place has a lot more of that than pusssies and stupidity.

Yes I do..it was after the wind down of the Cold war and right after the U.S. and coalitions victory in Desert Storm..and that trend of cuts to the DoD continued under President Clinton. His administration cut the DoD budget by about 30% between 1989 and 2000..., the U.S. defense spending declined between 1989-2000 by a cumulative $1 trillion..
But, we can agree there have plenty of troop and DoD budget reductions by both parties,in the last 25/30 years to hollow out our military ..thus Trumps statement rings true .
