ive heard that's a way to stop it -- ive tried eveything 

happens every yr i usually get to the top of my game --right about now  in the year and then hit one straight right  

its the worst thing in the world shot 72 on sunday --so its gonna happen soon

Had 4 birdies on the front 9 today...first time in a while I've done that


Kept it wonderfully shitty with 4 bogies as well.

Im going to bed but here's the condensed version of what happened in my round today.


8th hole... was spotted 3.5 strokes, down 4 at this point, par 3.  My cousin is on the green, I hit mine right, bounced 3 times on the cart path. between me and the green is a bunch of shitty hard ground with low branches all the way to the sand trap before the green, I am under trees.  Absolutely no shot but to hit it at the trap and pray that it somehow founds the green.


3 iron, front lip of the bunker, hops over, rolls quickly to the other side of the green (way too much speed), drills the pin, drops for a birdie 2.  Cuz had his only 3 putt of the day.  Gained 2 strokes and won it by a half a stroke after the next hole. 


I have played a ton of golf in my life, and it was the most miraculous 'chip in' I have seen.  Ever.

Shot a 43


But I've been in a HORRIBLE putting funk, and I figured it out on the 9th green (and in the hour of putting contest betting after the round ended)... just needed to shorten my back swing to get that good acceleration and 'push' feeling to my putts again.  Drilling everything, picked up another $30 on the green after the round ended haha.

I'm really just starting my game, I kind of feel like Happy Gilmore

I'm a hockey guy hitting ballz...But played my 1st round in over a decade on a Par 3 course the other day and got a fuckin birdie on the 4th hole ....I lost by 1 stroke to a buddy of mine who has played for 15 yr's so I can only expect good things to come...Granted I have good eye/hand coordination and judging putting strength is hockey in certain terms, so give me a few more months and this shit will be easy

it's all good salty....now i have something to keep me motivated to play. almost gave up there, asking myself when will i ever break 100? now i want to get back on quick to see if i can duplicate it or better. what surprised me was i did it sober....i did well on the front 9(44) so i didn't want to ruin it on the back 9 and refrained myself from partaking in the ritual back 9 toke

Until I commit myself to practicing on and around the greens I will never shoot below 90. I can hit a fairly decent drive and approach. Maybe not on in 2 (par 4) but somewhere near the green. That is where me and most other amateurs fail. "Drive for show, putt for dough."

so after weds wonderful achievement, i couldn't wait to get back out there. so today a friend and i had tee time at 3pm on a links course. i was so excited to play, feeling so confident and all. got to the course and waited... 

my turn to tee off.....

"smack"..........it rolls to the women tee 

to make the long story short...i tripled, tripled, bogie, tripled, then the horn blew...started to rain

boy was i glad to get that over with....they gave us a rain check to use on another day. tomorrow i have tee time again at bethpage blue. need to redeem my confidence

i scored 105 on sunday.... 103 on monday.....112 today....resting weds...back out on thursday!

gotta luv it ps. that is the wicked b*tch called golf...

keep doin her up. funny thing is golf is weird, if you go in too over confident she'll bite ya in the ass. i assume coming off a rd of golf in which was your career low and outshot the rd previous to that by 37 strokes, your ass was anxious to hit um up and you just may have been too pump up to play...ask any golfer, it happens...but also youre learning the band aid humble pie of golf...shes a treacherous beast but damn it her p*ssy can taste good on some days...

for me, shot lowest round in about 6 yrs yesterday (mon)...76. pair of 38s.  

crazy ass finish. was tired but some how went birdie, eagle, par coming in to hit that mark. bird was a 30ft putt on par 3. eagle was short par five chip in just past the green off fringe from about 15 ft. had two bogeys on front nine par fives so everything evens out i guess. played a well rounded game so it felt good. lots of fairways and greens but two 3 puts and a double from inside 100 yrds off the blocks..a wuda cuda shuda round with a little of everything. happy with the score card. good day...

low rd ever for me...2 under 70 about 10 yrs ago. only time ever broke par. damn great feeling to literally be in the zone on the golf course. wish i sunk the snake on 18 for a 69 but i gave it a good roll...great day...

no aces ever...close but no cigars...handful of eagles tho and seriously almost had a double eagle with cheese one time...tap in eagle is a great skin...

keep pluggin away ps...

golf is good...

39 today

Including a 175 yard 5 iron that I ripped right to left around the corner tree on a dogleg left and stuck it about 8 feet from the pin...

Also hit a driver one time, bad decision, ended up in trees to the left... punched out leaving myself 240 to the green... hit a 240 yard 3 wood to about 7-8ft and dropped the put for par loved it!

Playing the best golf of my life right now... there are always strokes that could be shaved off, but I feel like I missed my long birdie put by 1/4 inch about 4 times in 9 holes, could have shot a 37 very easily.
