Top Chef Final 6

As someone who is an above average homecook, and via playing sports, competitive, I enjoy Top Chef. These people are the real deal and I've learned alot. Besides, there aren't too many women more beautiful than Padma.

Interesting this season the final 6 are all people of color, 3 black, 2 Asian, 1 Hispanic. Evelyn, who's Mexican, is from Houston, where this season is taking place, sentimental fav' perhaps. Nick, black, known as the "Mississippi Baker," has accrued an additional $35k of winnings this competition to lead the pack. And I luv Buddha, Chinese, lives in NY, but was raised in Australia and comes accent and all. Great competition I've watched for years. The girlfriend and I even bet on it every week and yes I'm well ahead with our $1 bets on who's going home and who's the weeks winner.

If you like to cook, the average person can learn alot from Top Chef, but I will say much of what they do is waay over my head. Like they say, "cook with love" and it usually turns out pretty good!

I like the cooking competitions on the Food Channel. I am not a fan of cooking (actually cooking) myself and I'm allergic to onions, celery, okra etc so my diet is pretty bland although I'm accustomed to it.

 My mother was a great cook, cook anything, and I loved to eat. My friends would come over just to eat her cooking. So it kind of rubbed off on me. Girlfriend always trying to get me to try out for these home cooking competitions, MasterChef in particular, but that's a different world, and cooking with time constraints changes the game completely. Out of Houston to Tuscon. One will be eliminated, finals will include last 3.

Last episode, deep sea fishing, cook what you catch. An episode I might not have looked foolishly on. Seriously, these people can cook. My money is on Buddha, Chinese/Australian he's a badass. Can you bet on this? Hmm...
