Went on a picnic today.

Range pond state park in poland, one of those perfect afternoons here in Maine. 

The temp is 70s this week a very light onshore breeze kept the bugs away. Quite a few people were there but we found a table close to the water.

It was a one of those perfect moments in time.

My two sisters and my better half enjoyed hamburgers and hot dogs. Some soda , chips ect.

The food was good the place a really nice place about 20 min from Lewiston / Auburn . There were trails that beckoned to be explored the grounds were free of litter.

A food truck was parked near the parking lot , we brought our food , i never been to this particular state park.

The experience was breath taking I seem to have been trapped in city, same asphalt cement side walks I have  been walking for 4 years..

it seem to nourish my soul as the peaceful water rippled with small waves , as to the ascetic experience that the city demands for existence.

It was a needed break from the reality of life.

Poland is gorgeous this time of year

Is this where Poland Spring water comes from? I have always heard Poland Spring references.

Poland springs is close by to the park.

Water is now drawn from fryeburg and carry ponds  as well as the original spring.. it's a huge employment provider here in Maine.

I don't find my sisters hot they are my sisters...

I don't know if I would use the wording "hot" in talking about my sisters, because the are my sisters, but I would have no problem calling them attractive. We're not an ugly family.
