what will happen in this situation?

I am getting surgery to fix som breathin probs next week, and my manager who makes the schedules hasnt been in the past few days so I havent told him yet.  This guy is a hugee asshole, and your usually supposed to give at least 2 weeks notice if your going to be out a week.  Will he fire me for not giving him enough notice?...keep in mind that me and him are not on the best of terms.  Ive gotten yelled at by him lik 3 times already.

If i give him lik 1 weeks notice...i know thats not alot at all, but will i get fired for it?

And also, hes going to be in 2mro and i have a day off...should i go in and talk to him or just leave him a note?

its not that i depserately need help with these questions...i just like hearing other peoples advice. 

If somebody gives a good piece of advice that i thk is worthwile to use...i will take that into account.

Thats why i ask these questions sometimes....just to get another point of view on a situation.

yeah you HAVE to talk to him in person asap

either early morning or early afternoon...if you know by any chance when hes in a good mood you have to attack

If I was having surgery.  My boss's opinion is the last thing I'd be worrying about.

Depends on the surgery. 

Also depends on the surgeon.  How many accidental deaths are done each year by hospitals?  How many "wrong" side is operated on. 

Yeah, 99% of surgeries are 1-foot putts.  But just hope somebody doesn't get the yips. 

my surgeons been doin this for lik 40 years...hes done over 8000 surgeries...dont think hes had 1 death.

ANY surgery has a chance of  "Toxic Shock Syndrome". 

ANY "putting somebody" under has a chance they do not wake up. 

Probably is a slam dunk, no reason to be concerned.  But come on, having a little talk with Jesus beforehand certainly can't hurt.

Should be a slam dunk, prayers with you anyways.  If you don't want the prayers, too bad.  I'm praying anyway for you surgery.  Just finished praying.

I had a Nasal Surgery at your age and it was over the summer .. just missed a few days of summer work and an internship.

I still told my 'supervisor'.. just the right and proper way to handle it ..

Try to do it in person or via phone ..   no texting it or tweeting it ..

you should be fine in a week.. btw, ask him if you have Sleep Apnea .. it's more common than you think and most don't realize they have it ..gl

you also may want to tell your bookie that you may be light with the next installment payment due to the surgery causing you to miss some work ..
