Just don't say anything to your boss.  Then, when you go in the day after surgery, show him your scars and tell him that the bookie finally had enough of your teenage drama bullshit....like the rest of us!

they did but my friend just got a text from my bookies cousin saying...."can u do me a favor and tell him to pay up like he said he would or he is going to get jumped and i don want that happening"

so i am going to get jumped if i dont pay up the $1000 i owe

who knows how bad il get jumped...i honestly dont think i would though...

i never ever see this person or any of his friends....

if they come to my house...it would be easy to get them away and have them never come back

im pretty sure this is a desperate attempt to make me pay...or hes threatening to jump me

il probably jus end up payin..but wat u guys think?

I've been jumped 3 really good times----its never as bad as it appears its going to be,,,,just hope that once you hit the ground they all start doing the gangster kicks,,,,yea---they look cool from an outside observation, but they really don't hurt that bad

i paid him $350 upfront and we both agreed to be even.  Then i get a text after i pay him the 350..that he wants all of it.  So i tell him il give him $100 a month.

I havent paid any monthly payments yet, so thats why this kid has been up my ass

yea but if we both agreed to be even..should i have to pay him more?...i know i lost $1400, but he agreed to me only giving him $350 and i have the texts.

$100 a month to satisfy a debt that YOU incurred or risk being jumped every day you leave the house.  I think the decision is clear.

Well about 1 yr ago June 2008 to be exact I went for an EKG and after a couple more tests was told I neede bypass surgey. I was 41 at the time.The surgeon said I had a 90% and 80% blockage .So naturally I was scared somewhat but because of all the medical advances I never really panicked..THe surgeon had said I would be okay and thank God he was correct.

alot of hating going on here for a guy who is being open about something he realizes was not well thought out. I think the dude recognizes he made a mistake by not telling the boss sooner. If the boss has any brains, he will not fire you because he risks looking like a total dick, even though the policy would back him up. Just be honest with him and tell him you screwed up and you are really worried about the surgery and not used to being in a situation like this. Maybe it will help your relationship with him. If he fires you, he's a dick, but hopefully you'll be eligible for undemployment

hello everybody...i ended up telling my boss that i couldnt be in that week and he didnt give me a hard time at all...I dont think he even made the schedule up for that week yet..thats why he wasnt mad.  I had my surgery on monday and it went well.  Thanks for the advice
