Would you put Brian Urlacher in the HOF?

I'm leaning no, but I really gotta look at some numbers.

I'm curious as to what your thoughts are. I just always thought he was overrated. Good no doubt, but overrated.

I thought he was in the Butkus/Singletary realm. And had to defend the pass more during his era.

If you add the # of times he sacked Paris Hilton to his record then YES.

Does Ray Lewis belong in the HOF? I'm sure you would say yes. Urlacher is just as good if not better and I hate the Bears, but he's the leader of a defense that any team would love to have.

Yes, he's a HOF'er, i didn't even have to think about it, that's how i know he's a HOF'er.

Urlacher was an extraordinary complete athlete at his position in an era when white guys are not considered athletes.

I'm a Packers fan, so I hate the Bears and I would say no doubt about it hes a HOF

Ray Lewis may be the best ever, but hes at least top 5 for sure. Urlacher was good, but he wasnt great......

I'm not trying to take anything away from Ray Lewis he is another first year HOFer. I just think they are comparable. Stats pretty even. Both have great leadership on the field. Where Ray wins is he has a few rings and urlacher doesn't.

I guess it depends on your criteria for what goes into election to the NFL HOF. Since there is no set criteria (at least that I am aware of) so it all depends on your personal criteria or what the criteria of the voters are. 

I would say the NFL HOF should probably be the top 10% of their respective position (give or take) during their time in the NFL. So, imo, if you think that Urlacher was in the top 10% of linebackers during his time in the NFL (he played from 2000-2012, so say 98-14 or so for the window) then that should get him in.....in my opinion. 

I think he falls within the top 10% during his time span. 

Now obviously there are guys that play a year or two and are never heard from in the league, so that will skew the numbers a bit. Maybe the criteria could become guys that played 4 or 6 or X amount of years. It's definitely a subjective subject so the criteria is going to be different for everyone.

Ray Lewis might be the BEST MLB of all time ...I also like Willie lanier and  Chuck Bednarik at the TOP

Urlacher is a Media Hype LB .... not in the Top 100 LB

Yes.
But he wasn't as consistent as Singletary and he's not better than Ray Lewis.

He did have a knack for making big plays and being near the ball at the right time.
