Can someone give me the odds when Taker's streak was broken at WrestleMania vs Brock?
Was Taker a huge favorite say the day of the match?
-1000?

@sosa-
Here it is.
It says Bovada had Lesnar at as low as 8-1 and has high as 14-1.
I don't really remember it being that high but they are quoting the owner of Bovada so their word trumps my word!
And to your question, that was the one line I never saw move towards the favorite like other wrestling lines do as results get leaked.
Taker stayed a huge favorite the entire way.
Perhaps Spark could add something but I remember the wrestling sites saying that putting Lesnar over wasn't official until about 1/2 hour before the match which is an example of the best possible job of keeping a wrestling script a secret.

Before I read the article...
Growing up with my brother you couldn't find two bigger wrestling fans. Id say from 1994- the end of Austin Rock era.
Then I stopped watching for many years.
Caught some Cena, id pop In from time to time. I missed entire CM PUNK era lol.
Last couple months Ive watched almost all the Raw's. I know a lot of the storylines. All of the wrestlemania ones pretty much.
This weekend gonna watch WrestleMania at my boys crib. Kinda excited. Shane vs Taker very excited. I feel Shane going to win from the start....Brock vs Ambrose [street fight]..the Owens ladder match. I'm a sucker for a ladder match. Divas are cool. Lots of matches. Should be a great event.
Will this be outdoors?

I believe that. It did just sort of happen. But then when he was getting close to 13 straight (the alleged 'unlucky' 13 associated with bad luck and that somehow represents taker), the streak started gaining momentum.
But there were many a match I thought he could lose along the way.
Like everyone else, I was totally blindsided by Lesnar. Lesnar was not who he is today during the time of that match.

I missed the entire Punk era too. I was just not a Punk fan. Punk is an acquired taste.
I will say that when Punk raised his title over Cena's I marked out. That was a great moment. Punk was a true heel and Cena was a face and the crowd cheered for Punk.
I started commenting in this thread that Shane had absolutely no chance of winning but now, after seeing how Shane is currently more over than Taker, I could Vince doing something crazy by putting Shane over.
It's the least he could do.
Shane wanted to buy UFC and Vince said no. Shane wanted to run ECW as separate company and Vince said no. Then Stephanie gets everything.
The crowd would go absolutely bonkers if he won and as Kapono noted the odds are
-115 Shane
-125 Taker
Which could mean there is a leak in the script.
I just checked and Lesnar and Ambrose are both -120 (another leak maybe?).
BUT, Heyman did come out this week and used the 21 and 1 line. It makes little sense to promote that to beef up Lesnar, or shall I say, remind fans of that, if that is going to be 22 and 2 soon.
This will not be outdoors. Cowboys home field indoors...
