Sparky, your last post was right on regarding the Undertaker thing and the chances of Lesnar winning, which is to say no chance in hell. I am a huge fan of Brock but it's obvious he wants to be just part time and WWE wants no part of him winning a title any time soon or ending the streak at WrestleMania.

Gentlemen --

Zero chance Taker loses. If this was Cena or Wyatt opposite him, then we could talk. Brock will not win, guaranteed, as sure thing as a "lock" as you will ever find betting. Put Taker to win in all parlays for a little extra on top.

What I want to talk about, however, is Batista at +2000 to win the Title. I think there is serious value here. Is there greater than a 5% chance that Batista walks away from WM30 as the champion? I say (no pun intended) YES!

Ways that Bryan DOESN'T win the title:

1) Punk returns during the three way when HHH comes out and looks to attack Bryan. Everyone presumes that Punk is there to help Bryan. BUT NO! He's not! He goes heel, helps HHH beat down Bryan, rolls him back in to the ring for Batista to pin him. The new heel faction is now a three man group of Batista, Punk, and HHH. This would work on a number of levels and would make Punk ultra-white hot as a heel again. Also, wouldn't this fit right in with the Shield's face turn? They need a non-Wyatt group to fight with, and a Batista-Punk-HHH group would be right up their alley. Add in Bryan/Kane to the respective groups and boom, you've got a great ability to mix and match new matches and feuds.

2) No Punk involvement, HHH beatdown, Batista win due to Authority being disappointed in Orton as champion. Teased dissension comes out. This extends the Bryan/HHH feud one more PPV and then allows Bryan to go after a heel champion Batista over the summer. WWE is huge in "the money is in the chase" and this would fit right in.

3) Batista's contract clearly specified that he would have to be in the main event of WM30 when he returned. What if the contract also says that not only does he have to be in the main event, but he has to WIN the title? If that's what the contract says, that's what WWE is doing. Lots of people suspect WWE wants the title on Batista while he is out doing movie promotion -- lots of photos will be taken of Batista, and WWE wants their brand all over him for mainstream exposure. You don't get that with a Bryan title win at WM30.

I'll be placing one unit, begrudgingly, on Batista +2000. I just think the value is too much to pass up if one of the above three scenarios comes to fruition.

I agree Batista can win Kap, plus there is something in 5dimes that says either the first result or the final result. I could seem some swerving going on.

yep, I remember that meltdown with people and "Tony". I mean Daniel Bryan may win it, then they restart the match and Batista wins it. Final result is what counts according to the site. So you never know.

that HHH bet is the initial ruling before an overturn in the first match..ill put 25 on it

only one person can beat the streak and that is cena for a few reasons biggest turning heel,people showing up tonight rock.austin,the maybes are punk,jericho,...and maybe a video of sting .00001 chance but never know...preshow 5pm wwe network

I have yet to see one person suggest Undertaker will lose. That has, as I stated earlier, about a zero percent chance of happening.

 

I did just notice that end of match ruling odds now have HHH as the favorite over Bryan, but a huge underdog in the "end of broadcast ruling" odds. Interesting.

So the initial ruling just went from HHH -160 to -190 in the last few minutes. So does this mean Vince comes down to overturn it? Or is that Hogan's job as guest host?

I know it's Wrestlemania...but I can't imagine Punk being a surprise part in the Triple H/DB match. I could see it if it were the main event but the rest of the card is dead if Punk comes in at the midway point of the card. ESPECIALLY if it COSTS DB a shot in the main event.

I'm actually very interested on who the "mystery wrestler" is going to be in the battle royal.

Odds are now up for the Andre the Giant battle royal -- some value in the following IMO:

1. Ziggler +1000
2. Big E +1500
3. Miz +1500
4. Brodus Clay +2000
5. Cody Rhodes +2500
6. Titus O'Neil +3000

If the winner is someone who's already been announced for the Battle Royal, these guys have the best odds and could have stories coming out of a win to run with. Brodus and Titus are both high in potential because of heel turns that have stalled somewhat, this would re-start them. Cody Rhodes is always popular with the Wrestlemania crowd and this could springboard a Goldust/Cody breakup if Goldust gets jealous. Miz has seem to have received a re-started heel push in the run-up, and has his undefeated streak going still at Wrestlemania. Big E is my least favorite because he still has the IC title and I'm not sure he needs this award. Ziggler would be a happy ending for the fans at the show, who would be very excited for a favorite like him to win.

Also, the fact that "announced" v. "non-announced" is a category and is -120 on both sides means they have no idea who is winning yet. That bodes well for some of the longshots above.

I think the FIELD prices vs. Usos and AJ have some nice value, as does Real Americans straight up at +600

I can't see the Usos losing. No chance Los Matadores will win the title and the other two look like they can break up at any point.

Sparky -- why can't you see the Usos losing? I think the only other realistic winner is the Real Americans, and I don't think +600 reflects the true chances that the office rewards Cesaro for the hard work he has done by letting he and Jack get the titles. That would also lead to an easy split-up storyline when Swagger and/or Zeb costs them the titles a few weeks down the road.

Glad to agree on Brodus, Cody, and Titus. I have trouble seeing a Ziggler/Miz tag because its a mismatch of heel/face dynamics. Barrett would be an interesting winner and I would actually support that. I doubt they let RVD or a guy like Warrior win it. Sting as a return winner? I think they save him for something more important. Rusev is the only "unannounced" guy that I think has a shot to win it. Punk is above the match IMO
