A buddy of mine in college did buy 150 Frank Thomas rookie cards. I'll be curious as to what those might be worth if he goes to the hall. Probably not much because there were so many produced.
Not much at all. He would have to get them graded, have one that was graded a 10 gem mint and then sell it on eBay. No one wants 9's or even 9.5's amazingly. They want perfect 10's. And even then it's not worth much. And remember, having one card graded costs a fortune relative to the cost of the card if it's not a premier vintage card.
