YEP....off my 1/10th of a second with my prediction on Kickin Cowgirl.... I backed up with a $12 exactor since they were paying to well

Race 7....like 149 boxed with ALL /ALL on a 20 cent super

Race 8 > box 34 and 10.......10 or 3 wins so I am likely doing a $2 ex 4 / 3 10 and superfecta or $2 tri with 310/ 3410/ All

#7 is on my radar in race 9 for a Double combo with whichever horse I like here....in post parade

Weather Saturday:

South wind pushing horses on the final turn if they decide to come FIRST OVER or 2nd over /3rd over......good for closers and horses that wish to lay off the speed battle

Wind speed = 8-13 mph gust.........rain could come by the last couple of races

Front end horses have to be careful not to go too fast but if there are few fast leavers in a race, I would consider them on top for sure and the fastest closer in the race.......

if many fast horses off the gate, look for a couple of fast closers to come late and get them.

I think McClure and Henry are good in these conditions....JMAC is excellent at rating a horse FIRST OVER

Race #1 - this could be a tricky race ....

-#4 has a monster kick and McClure is well suited with the wind today

-problem I see is all the horses have been off for 3 weeks EXCEPT for a horse I like as an upset

-#8 raced a week ago and very well.....just needed racing room to win.....if equipment change, I like this horse a lot with Galluci and Millar Farms....they use the vet a lot on site

#6 raced a week ago as well and beat a top top horse

#1  should go in....potential is very high on this horse...no ceiling shown yet

What do you do with the 2 Meadowlands drivers who are good in stakes races with horses just  a little behind these 4?

Take 1468 .....and if you want to take more....take 27 for a major upset

Race 2 - be careful on this one as well

- has #2 topped out on its performance level???....racing last week will help

- #6 appears to have no top and shocked people when it won EASILY last week....

- #3 is off for 3 wks but.....Cassie Coleman has a great training track and it would not surprise me if she used the time to work on some things as she has always snuck in a surprise horse on a win every season I have bet

Take >  236 .... add #7 because in a short field, with its kick and lack of a top shown, it could surprise

Race 3 - need 3 horses here as the 2 Mohawk horse can give #2 a race and it breaks regularly

Take > 246  ....don't be shocked if #3 ? surprises in the exactor (win or 2nd > Steacy is a master trot specialist and JMAC is a great Trot driver 

I am strongly considering  mixing my PICK5s to have 1-2 key horses be longshots or mid faves.......its the only way you could do well tonight on a payout

Race 4

- #2 looks like a key but has breaking history a little....in its favour.....new driver who is good with horses first time ....LASIX which helps it breathe better but less effective on Trotters.....

-only other horse I like is McNair on #4

-do not like the #7 ...it breaks with MacArthy driving and in general, its a trip horse and that is not gonna happen from the outside likely

Race 5 - 

- I think #1 could be a key as its racing regularly and winning ...the rail is perfect for the horses style of flow driving for the stretch

-#4 ....cannot deny leaving out the WORLD'S BEST FIRST OVER driver by a longshot and Dunn has the wind tonight to suit his style ....having the best trainer in the business helps too

-#7 is acclimatized and ready to go ....Scott Zeron was one of the best style drivers on this track before he left for ML

- #10 is a maybe....the horse will face wind going for the lead so there are too many good horses/drivers in here to pull this off

 Yes...but Nancy actually has outperformed him in the past 3 yrs and is still active with her advising and scoring 

Monday night weather:

- wind we haven't seen in a while.....strong NW wind with a bite to start but diminishing in half as we approach race 5-6 and almost 1/3 the speed in the last 3-4 races

- NW wind means inside front speed has an advantage but any outside horse with an 'electric start can get the job done with a push....

-FIRST OVER MOVES between HALF and 3Q pole will be met with a stiff wind and 2nd and 3rd over could benefit if they have some horse

-again, all this changes after race 3 in my mind and then First Over should be a little easier

Front end wind but also 2ND and 3RD covered up horses can do ok

Race #3 = 147 (#1 could be a key but #4 can be a monster and #7 is ready to pop!)

Race #4 = love 1 8 ....but I think 2.3 are trip horses that can win and #5 is a maybe (Marfisi not a Trot specialist)

- #9 and #10 have to be inside to have a chance!

-#6 could leave...playing if equipment change

#2 longshot but possible

Horses like #8 on a windy NW or N or very strong West wind are GOLD in your pocket if the rest of the better horses are closers.....

I bet $10 across on #8 ...gonna get a nice payout

For what the PICK5 is paying out, I don't think it would have been worth it putting in #9 and #10 in Race 2

I am frankly a little surprised but maybe many were keying McNair on the #1 horse dropping in class in Race 3

Played this PICK4 ....could have picked 7 horses in this race but decided front speed was best. I backed up #68 only in a $1 Pick3

Haven't been betting horses lately but will be for the Pepsi North America cup tomorrow looking forward to your plays 

OK....rubbing my hands together...its PEPSI NA CUP time and other stake races....

I have been betting these a long time and very rarely do you get a longshot in the big races...except when wind is a certain bias and drivers who are not used to the wind and track dimensions get caught before the wire 

HUGE 20-30 mph Southwest wind which means....OUTSIDE POSTS will struggle to get to the front 8-10 positions since they have to battle the wind and will get steamed as a result

FIRST OVER is the advantage tonight or a well rated get to the front horse .....expect lots of action BEFORE the HALF and on the last turn around the 3Q mark as those horse get pushed from behind on their moves 

Pay attention to conditions and driver styles. The best FIRST OVER drivers at the track tonight:

#1 Dexter Dunn by far the best !!!

#2 Yannick Gingras

#3 James MacDonald

#4 Bob McClure

#5 Todd McCarthy

....Sylvain Filion and Travis Cullen also like 3 Q First Over moves to the front....
